Ahhhhhh!!!!!!
We can ignore the fact that I panicked so hard about the listening that I scored crazy low on the reading.... Ok??? ENGLISH IS HARD!!!
L - 8.5 (CLB 10)
R - 7 (CLB 9)
W - 8 (CLB 10)
S - 9 (CLB 10)
Also boyfriend rubbing it in that he got CLB 10 in all...Again....
Yayayayay! I might have an ITA in January!!!!!!
Thank you! And thank you EVERYONE here, I will be around here. This forum has been very supportive and encouraging and of course, a source of our optimism. Thank you! Man, I was at 476. Good luck to everyone waiting for an ITA, I hope the cutoff goes down even more and everyone here who is waiting gets it!India Can said:Congrats raven. All the very best for ur future

Thanks for the answerazaadpanchee said:I'm fairly new to the forum, but my understanding is that even post ITA IELTS scores still need to be valid (not expired) until you get an AOR.
If you need to retake IELTS and your IELTS score drops, you are fine so long as 1) you still meet the minimum language requirements of your stream, and 2) your overall CRS score is still at or above the cut-off for the specific round in which you received your ITA.
*seniors please correct me if I am wrong*
Having said all that, your stellar IELTS scores are making the rest of us look bad so please stop bragging
Are you a native speaker? I'm fairly certain that would've helped.Catie1989 said:Thanks for the answer
I feel like we'll probably end up retaking anyway. Not convinced that 467 we'll get an ITA before my husbands IELTS expires, nor would we get an AOR even if an ITA came a bit earlier.
Haha what can I say... I'm a wordsmith! No really I think it was all to do with the fact I was just kinda chilled about it. I didn't stress myself by looking things up or with practice papers. I turned up not even knowing it was split into 4 categories, which I wouldn't recommend! Ignorance is bliss sometimes!
Haha yes I am . I'm sure that's the biggest help, but I met a fair few at the test who were native speakers that were retaking for 3rd time because their scores weren't good enough for Australia. That scared me a wee bit!ashu1710 said:Are you a native speaker? I'm fairly certain that would've helped.
Nope. Scratch that. Got my ITA ;Dashu1710 said:Well, shoot.
After creating my profile yesterday, I found out I had been assigned 525 points instead of 500. As it turned out, I had accidentally added 3 years of foreign work experience, instead of 2 (accidentally set end date to 2016 instead of 2015).
Just updated my profile right now and fixed the issye. Looks like I'll be waiting for the 51st draw as well. ;D
Glad I didn't get an ITA as having to decline it would have been heartbreaking.
Woohoo! Congrats! Hope the application goes smooth and you're in Canada before long!ashu1710 said:Nope. Scratch that. Got my ITA ;D
