Yea, I studied in the UK 2004-2008. Back then student fees were about £1500 a year. Not bad. Then I got about £3000 loan a year of my 4 year course for living expenses which just covered rent (I worked too). I was the first in my family to go to uni and although dad owned his own business, he definitely couldn't afford to pay for it.

However, student uni fees in the UK are now £9000 a year!!! I'm actually really, really lucky.

Damn..i am planing to study masters in usa starting in 2018 and shit costs 92k/year as of now. Hope trump swings his magic wand and reduce education costs in usa.
