Ur point is correct the objective of CIC was to bring down cut off but what can they do when despite increasing the no. of invites the candidates with high crs are entering the pool every week are increasing by leaps and bounds. I don't think they can increase the no. of invites to 4000 to bring down the crs

With skipped draws, bugs that reigned supreme for close to 4weeks....I beg to defer!!!!

The only unwanted unexpected and discriminatory thing that has happened is that still lmia backed candidates, cec class and nominees are roadblocks in path of outland candidates with high human capital score but lacking nomination, Canadian education and experience,or lmia. And I don't think Canadian govt has done anything to improve their situation

And they are unlikely to, anytime soon it seems. Because their idea is to reward Canadian experience and education.

I am impatient because i know logically score are bound to fall but the thing is what ircc wants min score to be. Like this time they cud have touched 450is if they implemented the rule from jan instead we have 1 draw for more tgan a month. So if ircc wants scores to be 470 they will probably implement sibling scores as soon as crc touches 470. I just hope they dont

Did they announce there will be additional points for siblings for sure?

Just curious...if they claim that siblings = close tie to Canada, which would more likely to help the candidate to succeed in this country.
I have other Canadian family members (aunts & uncles) which also helped me to settle and become more successful in this country, but no points granted.

My point is, how does a, for instance, two years older siblings in their mid 20s be more helpful in settling in Canada then a 40+ relative who is already established and has more life experience?

OO.. I have to disagree with that. Earlier the points awarded for the lmia was a bit disproportionate but (if I am understanding it correctly) the new point system is fair.

About the CEC and International students and Nominees, I think they should be given preference above every other candidate. They all have shown the will and determination to move to Canada with only hopes of staying here permanently, there is a lot at stake for them compared to some guy in some other country with a good paying job who is applying with the same mindset with which we buy a lottery.
And I think this is the improved rational solution, a lot of foreign students come here to study and many of them find jobs and gain some canadian experience and Canada needs more candidates like that who are young and who has already proven that they are capable of surviving here

I m not against u people bro but don't u think that many of ur brothers and sisters here who have better core points than even u should not be made to wait hopelessly for the sole reason that they are outsiders who don't have lmia, cec points or nomination. Don't they deserve as much as u. Why do u still think that I should appreciate the changes and system

Good to know there is no immediate plan.
And I hope they never implement it (sorry folks!), it just almost sounds like discrimination to some family structure...

Heard about this sibling points from local media, as well as many comments in this forum...
Super worried because ummm, I am a single child LOL

Very on point. Accepting some random FSWs with unverifiable and unrelated foreign work exp will sometimes lead to another "Brutal winter and jobless" thread on this forum.
