Haha, are you me? My family and I were pretty much in the same situation. Had to work part time in a meat factory and do landscaping in the weekend to survive in Canada for four years, so I laugh at these people who live a comfy life in their home country, and now act like Canada owns them something.

Agree with you Alexios07. People think that after getting PR, their life is going to change for good. But for most of them who come under prepared to Canada, they immediately realize that it is not that easy to stay here until or unless one has a reasonable job. It becomes even more difficult with accompanying dependents.

So my friend also doubts wes's capabilities of veryfying credentials. And he is pretty much sure that only Canadian educated are more capable of benefitting Canadian economy. R u sure. I can name hundreds of famous doctors, businessmen who migrated to Canada to benefit it to make it what it is today

Good for them, but they came here on their own will, not like Canada beg them to come here. Take it or leave it. Don't act like you are doing this country a favor by immigrating here.

Why don't you stay and enrich your country instead?

When I left to Canada, I left my parents with a zero bank balance (their entire life savings), I pledged their home to get loan from a bank. So yes, for me now this is not about just staying in Canada. It is a fight for survival too. And therefore, I will retaliate hard if someone describes my struggles as "Unwanted, unexpected, discriminatory thing " :

And what do u know about the financial position of the ones who r making all possible efforts to get into Canada?? Who wants to leave the comfy of home for unimportant reasons. So bro don't try to gain sympathy. All r same here. Some have already struggled hard in Canada and some r prepared to struggle after struggling for years in their home country

Guess its not gona be low cutt off next time either. As lots of candidates are jumping in. It will be again above 490's.

Alright dude think of express entry as a recruitment agency for canada. Now they will recruit people who know canada better, are familiar with their culture, know how to survive there and have invested time there. Now a student who has spent 4 years in canada is definitely a better candidate than student with same degree but has never stepped in canada. With these new changes they have justifiably given a little bit of advantage to students, now on other side if u score good in English, have a good degree u can compete with these students easily. Its a fair process.

Now they will recruit people who know canada better, are familiar with their culture, know how to survive there and have invested time there. The difference is I am talking about me and you are talking about an fictional character who has no money to live in their home county and therefore wants to move to another country who's economy is almost 50 times bigger.

Absolutely Right, and that is why in my opnion CEC should beel given PR first as they have made it through the face of getting job in Canada. Then canadian educated students should come and should be given PR , as they have shown that they are serious about staying here or atleast they have shown it by acting not by sitting home at some other country. And in the end , the candadites from other country with no canadiam work experince or education should be entertained!
