OO.. I have to disagree with that. Earlier the points awarded for the lmia was a bit disproportionate but (if I am understanding it correctly) the new point system is fair.

About the CEC and International students and Nominees, I think they should be given preference above every other candidate. They all have shown the will and determination to move to Canada with only hopes of staying here permanently, there is a lot at stake for them compared to some guy in some other country with a good paying job who is applying with the same mindset with which we buy a lottery.
And I think this is the improved rational solution, a lot of foreign students come here to study and many of them find jobs and gain some canadian experience and Canada needs more candidates like that who are young and who has already proven that they are capable of surviving here

But why do u think we don't have anything at stake. Why do think thousands of outsiders want to play lottery lottery here just for fun sake. Bro everyone has a lot of dreams don't underestimate them.

Very on point. Accepting some random FSWs with unverifiable and unrelated foreign work exp will sometimes lead to another "Brutal winter and jobless" thread on this forum.
Oh Alexios hahaha +1 for you.

As harsh as it sounds, it is the truth!

I concur. The only thing that prevented my parents from sending me to Canada to study is money. I still worked hard for my education and I'm working hard to get to Canada now.

I think Alexis is more smart than CIC bcoz he knows that Fsw candidates have unverifiable and unrelated foreign work experience and CIC is a fool

Well, at least your work exp and education are verifiable and directly related to Canada.

I m not against u people bro but don't u think that many of ur brothers and sisters here who have better core points than even u should not be made to wait hopelessly for the sole reason that they are outsiders who don't have lmia, cec points or nomination. Don't they deserve as much as u. Why do u still think that I should appreciate the changes and system
Because you said so yourself, you don't spend your money here in Canada, you don't support Canadian education sector, you don't have a Canadian job, you don't pay taxes to Canadian government, you don't have Canadian work experience.

Why would Canada choose you instead of someone who have been here for more than 5 or 7 years? This is not a humanitarian program, they choose the best candidates who will bring the most benefits to Canada. Want an easier way to get in? leave your home country and come here, spend four years with the brutal winters as a student, then find a Canadian job. Stop being so entitled.

This, I think, should all link back to a system of in demand NOCs. If you want to study as a Dr in Canada, great! Awesome! Extra points. You study as a Dr in Australia? Great, extra points. You study as a geologist in Canada...Meh... Don't really neeeeed you. You don't get extra points but you can apply.

I think u still have doubts that Wes is not able to do its job properly while veryfying the education credentials and experience certificates of all big and small MNCs are fake. Good bro u r very smart

Nope.. They gave us fair number of points to stand ahead in the race.. Appreciate Canada govt. for that
Sure lots of Intl grad were around 420 and below but with a 30 point padding, they will be able to benefit from the largesse of invite earmarked for 2017 immigration year

Yup, this is the best way for an economic immigration system, supply and demand. BC PNP actually has been implementing this already. They have a list of 100 NOCs in demand, if your NOC is in the list, you got extra points for it.

I agree without NOC /profession the system will get too many people for the same job just cause they r young and speak good english. Meaning EE could get too many young cooks while doctors are waiting in line just cause it takes longer to become a doctor than a cook

When I left to Canada, I left my parents with a zero bank balance (their entire life savings), I pledged their home to get loan from a bank. So yes, for me now this is not about just staying in Canada. It is a fight for survival too. And therefore, I will retaliate hard if someone describes my struggles as "Unwanted, unexpected, discriminatory thing " ::)

Haha, are you me? My family and I were pretty much in the same situation. Had to work part time in a meat factory and do landscaping in the weekend to survive in Canada for four years, so I laugh at these people who live a comfy life in their home country, and now act like Canada owns them something.

So my friend also doubts wes's capabilities of veryfying credentials. And he is pretty much sure that only Canadian educated are more capable of benefitting Canadian economy. R u sure. I can name hundreds of famous doctors, businessmen who migrated to Canada to benefit it to make it what it is today
