But bro there is always this uncertainty that I MAYY lose my job in two months right. The uncertainty and stress is very high. Especially in my job it involves taking a lot of risks. As soon as I get PR i am changing jobs lol.

I had to leave Canada in August and I have been back in India since, and it's getting sad to wait longer and longer thinking now might be my chance too. But this change in the system for now has not changed the actual cut offs. Last cut off was 470. Now it is 497, post changes.

I have no idea personally, not even going to go in the direction of "predictions". I am at 476 and even that seems way far from where this went for now.

I hope so. This is sad, we get our hopes up and then this happens, every 14 days the cycle repeats.

The most I can get is 474. So for my CELPIP exam I had
Speaking: 12/12
Writing:9/12
Listening:9/12
Reading:12/12

So theoretically for me to have 474(the max I can achieve) I need to have 12/12 in all four components.

My situation is eerily similar to yours - currently @ 471 with Canadian Bachelors and 1 Year Canadian Experience. Will have 2 years in Feb, 2017 assuming I haven't lost my job and then CRS will increase to 496 :-X PGWP expires May, 2017. I got my PGWP in April, 2014 but didn't start my skilled job until Feb, 2015

We might have a draw on or before next Friday, 20 to 30 drop in CRS points isn't impossible

I really wish they give us more stats on the composition of the pool and then we'd be able to take an educated guess - maybe soon since I believe there was some mention of this on the Nov/19 announcement

I know it is not impossible, it's just that this draw scared me about the future.

Cos a lot of people predicted above 500 given the high volume of PNP, 4 weeks interval between this draw and the last regular draw, additional points for Intl students and, perhaps to add, ITAs of less than 2k, I think it gives a glimmer of hope. Waiting at 467, hopefully I get an ITA in January or February

Got 5 months left on my PGWP. Looks like it is a good idea the retake the language test for more points.
Should I take CELPIP or IELTS? Need advice please, I took IELTS the last time but should I try CELPIP this time as I heard it is a bit easier?

2) 2000 ITAs and the score will be 486

Upcoming draws in January will help to drive score down to 470 level and then we at 46x can feel hopeful for February
