did you try ielts ? i mean the points that you mentioned you should be around 480 if not 470ish easily without breakin a sweatAspiring Canadian said:The most I can get is 474. So for my CELPIP exam I had
Speaking: 12/12
Writing:9/12
Listening:9/12
Reading:12/12
So theoretically for me to have 474(the max I can achieve) I need to have 12/12 in all four components.
No dude I plugged it into the CRS calculator, unless I'm mistaken I think even if I max out ILETS I can only get 474.OMG_Chakromakro said:did you try ielts ? i mean the points that you mentioned you should be around 480 if not 470ish easily without breakin a sweat

yeah which is not bad considering the fact that you only have 1 year exp .
just curious as to how come you have a degree here , and one year of Exp , your WP expiring in 2017 ? started late or something?Aspiring Canadian said:No dude I plugged it into the CRS calculator, unless I'm mistaken I think even if I max out ILETS I can only get 474.
If you dont mind me asking how do you get 476, isn't it only possible to get 474 with one year of Canadian work exp and MAX english points? Do you have foreign work experience or more than one degree or something. I'm just curious.raven00090 said:EVen with IELTS, and one year Canadian experience, I am myself at 476 after the changes.
No everyone gets a three year work permit if they study in university in Canada. So i graduated in june 2014, started my skilled job in Feb 2015. Not quite sure if i understood your question properly lolOMG_Chakromakro said:just curious as to how come you have a degree here , and one year of Exp , your WP expiring in 2017 ? started late or something?
I have a Bachelor's degree, then studied post-grad diploma in Canada, and then I got 133 points for IELTS, just near perfect but not the full marks. Just 3 short. No foreign work experience added. Just Canadian.Aspiring Canadian said:If you dont mind me asking how do you get 476, isn't it only possible to get 474 with one year of Canadian work exp and MAX english points? Exactly dude ! then why you sweating over it .? 499 will get you an ita the following drawAspiring Canadian said:Yeah but CIC threw us a "googli" for those of you that like cricket or a "curve ball" as they like to call it here in North America. No one could have guessed scores would go up this high. I was getting ready to tell my mom and dad some good news.
The only hope I have left is that on Feb 2017 my points will go up to 499 with two years exp.
But bro there is always this uncertainty that I MAYY lose my job in two months right. The uncertainty and stress is very high. Especially in my job it involves taking a lot of risks. As soon as I get PR i am changing jobs lol.OMG_Chakromakro said:well in that case your 2 year Exp in FEB 2017 . MAN!!! you are going to be way upp there lol .
