Can someone give me some encouragement that if I don't get 8+ on my listening section of IELTS on sat (and go up to 471 points) that I can just retake it and everything will be fine?.... flipping between the confidence of a native speaker and terrified that, like last time, I'm going to forget English.

You can retake it and everything will be fine :P

You can take it as many time you want, or if you are sick of IELTS, then fly to Canada and take CELPIP. I'm pretty sure you will score perfectly on all skills.

Awwww thanks guys :D :-*

(Done 10 practice tests today).

Hello ovi

It takes a little while for the update to be made (roughly 24 hours) but in order for the change to be initiated you need to answer the questions below (if you haven't done so already)

For this question, answer: YES
Was this degree, diploma or certificate:
•from a public post-secondary school, such as a college, trade/technical school, university or CEGEP (in Quebec)
•from a private post-secondary school that operates under the same rules as public schools
•a diplôme d'études professionnelles (DEP) or an attestation de spécialisation professionnelle (ASP) earned through a qualifying study program of at least 900 hours from a private school in Quebec, or
•a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree from a Canadian private school that can legally award degrees under provincial law. (The student must have been enrolled in a study program that led to a degree as set out by the province.)

and then enter the Designated Learning Institution (DLI) number for your institution of learning for the question below
What is the Designated Learning Institution (DLI) number of the school?

But then again if you did answer the questions like this already then don't worry. The changes will appear 24 hours from the time you made the changes.

Thanks for your response but probably I couldn't explain my situation properly. I'm a FSW Outland; I don't have any canadian degree. In this case, I'm not supposed to answer any additional question. But in the Application / Profile Details, CRS - Canadian education is displaying a blank instead of "0".

In that case you should be fine despite the field showing up as blank! ;D

You will be fine! I overthought the reading portion when I took it and still didn't do that badly. As a native speaker...don't stress yourself out ahead of time!

Did anybody attended David Cohen's Webinar on Immigration held in toronto and montreal ?
Any news to share ?

I've just got a provincial nomination and 448 in EE. Should I apply for PR with the provincial nomination now or continue to wait for ITA from EE?

Thanks.

NOT AN EXPERT but I think you should wait for a couple of draws before applying for PNP.
One of my friend applied for PNP in March 2016 and his visa was gonna expire on 1st December 2016 and he thought he will get it by then but unfortunately his visa has expired and his file is still in process. Although, he got a couple of document requests from CIC but it's still in process.
You need to show more money in your account (and proofs as well)
There is a big possibility that you'll also have to go through an interview and they ask really tricky questions (My friend messed it all up in the interview as they asked exact dates from his first job and all)

If you directly apply for federal then I don't think there's any interview and they don'task for 12-15 grand in your account.

But in the end, it's your decision.
Good luck! :)

Apply for PR with the provincial nomination NOW. You could be waiting in vain for EE.

Op says that they got their provincial nomination already. So the best bet would be to accept it and apply immediately.
