Ah. Erm, I don't think I am mad at you. But I also never believed you that 440 people don't stand a chance.

Anyway, new language tests for us soon. Hoping to be bumped up to 471 as of end of Dec.

Sorry Kryt0n does not wanted to hurt you. Good luck for your test. 440 people stand a chance but it will take time.

Because I know people were on 480 and above score for months and I don't want to go through that if by any chance the scores suddenly go up or don't decrease......I will always feel this was our chance that we missed!!

I know this is not the right forum but i guess most people are active here today, my question is what is the benefit of having OINP? i have CRS scope of 461, should i consider OINP ?

You cant apply for OINP. OINP is closed at this point of time it will start sending PT of interest by dec or jan. So if you receive pt of interest than you have 45 days to submit the application and if you get nominated you will receive 600 points which will guarantee you an ITA. I dont think you need to apply as you have very good score. You should wait for 2-3 draws max if the ITAs remains 2000+ you will get an ITA soon.

I know this source is equal to nothing but this upsets me - why they say CRS could go down and then again up?

Does anyone has an explanation why this scenario might happen?

"The 46th draw may have a score of 468-472 with approximately 1700-2000 invitations. CIC will release 5 more draws in 2016 taking total number of draws to approx. 51. The month of November will have 2 draws possibly on 9th November 2016 and 23rd November 2016 each with a decreasing CRS cut-off with least score settling somewhere at 458. The CRS cut-off may again rise higher towards the end of year draws in December 2016 moving towards the bracket of 470-480."

I could easily miss the lowering of the scores because I expect my 457 score to be effective around end of December..

Dont belive them they said that there will most likely be no draw today. And it happend. They said at the time of last draw that CIC will not go for back to back draw and score will not go below 483 in this year. They said policy changes will come with the immigration targets but still no news of the changes. They said mid year report will come in october it never came. They said the ITA will not go above 1500 and look at the level of ITAs now.

If he is CLB 8, how come you managed to get till 470? I thought you lose about 50 points or more straight, from skill transfer if you are below CLB 9.
Maybe you got more points in some other sections like Canadian experience and all.

With 470 CRS you didn't miss much! Those around 450 should be fussing about it.

I think no. But what to worry about you will get the ITA in the next draw. Think as you have 74 days to submit the application. You are lucky use these 14 days to gather your docs. You are guaranteed an ITA in next draw.

I have another concern. I missed the draw today because my WES report was entered yesterday and the system is still not updated. I surmise I will have 479. However, my birthday is tomorrow. Will I lose points?
