I'm calling it, score won't go below 482 in the next draw.

It's an easy call. Given the demand and the workings of PNPs it may not go below 482 for the foreseeable future, unless they make changes to the points system.

Just because FSW & CEC quotas are met for this year, they will not take this general pool with 481 and lower.
I see no change in CRS until quotas for 2017 are announced.

Sluffy, when do they announce the yearly quotas for FSW & CEC? When are they expected to announce the next quota and when can we hope to get the ITA?

I think they don't want to go below 482, because the 2017 annual quotas for FSW and CEC have not been announced yet. Scores won't go down unless the quotas are announced.

Atleast now the number of ITAs is back to normal so it is a good sign. As soon as the 2017 quotas are announced, then will be our real "Ray of Hope", for those of us below 482.

I agree. I dont see any drastic drops happening till the start of 2017. The good news is that even after 3 weeks of wait and all those PNP and LIMAS, the score only went up 1 point.

Once they break the 480 bottle neck ( hopefully in the next few weeks), scores can go down to the 450 - 470 range in the first half of next year according to my Tarot Card. ;D

Tarot Card earlier said 485 for the 44th draw. Close enough! ;D

Me too. I thought 478 was good enough to receive ITA in the short term, but now I see it is not enough.

I could increase my score in 3 points if I re-take IELTS and secure 8.5 in Listening, or practice French and take the TEF for a few more points...

Nothing to do with that. The ITA sizes are fairly large. It's not going down to 481 because there are tons of applicants with better scores in each draw. They won't invite thousands more applicants all of a sudden.

They'll be announced in November. That's what John McCallum has said.

Yes, it does reduce automatically. I have gone through this phase.
