At 462 I have lost all hopes.
In May I was at 467 and the scores had come down to 468 and I was so hopeful. But, after my birthday that same month, things changed so much. ITAs reduced and scores went up so high.

Now, it looks like 480 and below is very unlikely. I really wish I am wrong.

These "Ray of Hope" threads give everybody a hope but at the same time after every draw the hopes are crushed with even more force.

When I got good IELTS score and my CRS was jumped to 473 (in July), I was very very happy by looking at the total. I looked at the total and smiled for hours.
Hang in there people. we will make it for sure.

mine was 465 and score touched 468, then ITA got reduced to 750 and I celebrated my Bday. hope increased ITAs will bring score down.

I was hoping the October draws would happen on Oct 5 and Oct 19, but they skipped Oct 5, so it seems like the next draw will be October 26.

My husband and I did upfront medical exams already and had all PCCs ready. I am just impatiently waiting until October 26 now.

How can you do upfront medical exams?

I just went to a panel physician and asked to do an upfront medical exam. They provided me with a receipt and an e-medical form to upload onto my profile later.

Unless the Oct 5th draw skip was intentional. As others have pointed out, the skipped draw may be indicative that quotas are filled or at least very close to being so.

You mean there is a possibility that there will be only one draw in October?

I think the draw was skipped so that they could pick all 483+ folks in one sweep so that when the next draw takes place on coming Wednesday they can easily break the 483 barrier.

That is one of my theory, my other theory is that they will break the 483 barrier using the new policies that will be announced in November, example the modied point system of arranged employment, Canadian Study & Sibling in Canada.
