Sitting at 482:-( Missed draw 43 by one point:-(

October is ray of hope for me, By November my point will go minus 5

I'm still sitting @ 481 along with a lots of other folks (some posts i read, say draw needs to be >2000 for cutoff to drop to 481).

Not sure whether next (Oct 5th) draw will be large enough for the score to hit 481, but there is definitely hope for 482 .....since (based on other's posts) word is that the big logjam is @ 481.

Good Luck !

Good luck to all !

Here we go guys! So 43rd draw did what we were hoping for - more ITAs and lower CRS scores. InshAllah next one will be even better hopefully. Sitting at 481, next one will be the one for me InshAllah, and for all of us.

hey, my work permit is about to expire in about a month, how did you get a 1 year TRV?
i was advised to put a work permit extension paper application and go on implied status for a few months.

I applied for visitor visa a week before my work permit expired. I received TRV for a year.

I won't advise to apply for work permit if you dont have LMIA or PNP or PR application in process.
It will get rejected as you know.

There must be a huge build-up of candidates at 481 by now (there was a 482 cutoff draw in between since May). If they want to lower the cutoff CRS score, they will have to drastically increase number of ITAs to accommodate a drop of further 2 CRS points, maybe 1800 ITAs in next draw.

Will it drop to 463 ?

Anytime ?

I am sitting at 470. what will my chances of getting the IAT and when hopefully. waiting since three months . I was at 475 in july but after my bday i got down to 470. The waiting is really frustrating now. No more patience to wait this much

My hope is building up...

I am applying for work permit so that I get to work on the implied status and complete 3 years of job, since ill be 2 years 11 months on expiry.

128 ppl per month for ITA, cut off being 950 points.

Just to start a riot! (at least online)

One potential reason why ITAs have been so low since May is because targets have been overshot considerably. Targets are for actual PR landings including dependants, which between Jan-Jun 2016 was 52,000 so the 2016 target of 58,400 was almost met in 6 months, with 6 months yet to go, so will have been overshot by up to 50,000 in 2016 mostly due to huge numbers of dependants. As very few non PNP, non LMIA applicants have been drawn in the past 12 draws, the following can be concluded:
1. The pre-EE backlog must have been quite large.
2. PR applicants are now bringing in lots of dependants, up to twice the number the were bringing in previous years.

Hope the score drops by 20 points in the coming draw (fingers crossed)
Even I lost hopes after seeing the news about PNP and CRS going above 500.

Best of luck everyone

Same here...sitting on 463 for a while..Hope the increased ITAs is a good sign...

I am sitting at 443. My work permit has expired and currently on TRV for a year :(
I hope score drops and changes to express entry happens soon.
If nothing happens, moving back to home country after 6 years of struggle here.

Yeah that's what happened to me. Lived in Canada between 2010-2015, only to come back in India :'(. But don't loose hope. I'm learning some French now and also trying to get better opportunities so I can re-apply later.
