Is it legal to work as a freelancer on tourist visa? Will this reflect negatively while processing of pr?
You can do remote work for any employer as long as:
1) Your employer is not Canadian.
2) Your clients are not Canadian.
3) You are not receiving any remuneration in Canada.
other than that you are working illegally and will suggest you to not do that why don't u go for cash jobs?

Ray of Hope thread and so many people wasting their time discussing what if Canada discontinues their EE program if Scheer wins the elections. Blimey. A few points:

1. As someone rightly pointed out, the Conservatives were the pioneers of the immigration scheme in place today. The Liberals did make it more 'open' but the Conservatives aren't against it. There is hullabaloo around the refugee scheme, but that does not concern us. As far as FSW is concerned, and as a fellow Indian (most EE applications are from India), I'd say stop being so insecure. We aren't escaping civil war in our nation. All of us have troubles in our personal lives, but let's not lay them bare here on this forum. Work hard and come to Canada. Why speculate so much about something that you cannot control?
2. As again someone correctly pointed out, Canada will not STOP a scheme that's a success. They need people, people get money, money fuels the economy, economy grows...
3. The most natural course (and this is my opinion) that the Canadian immigration program is going to take is:
a. Already in motion. CRS of 462. Isn't it competitive already?
b. Tighten the noose around PNP programs (Like Australia has done) in the future to make sure people aren't exploiting it to do the most obvious thing in Canada - move to the GTA.

How long is the police clearance certificate valid for?

i guess only 400 are coming towards EE rest of them aren't occupation in demand and express entry are two diffferent categories
Oh ok.. after OID get nominated don't they have to apply to federal via EE too?

Any hopes for 455 this year..?
yes definitely, After last screw ups I lost faith in EE but still my Canadian lawyer who is practising since last 20 years told me don't worry if you have anything near 450. Before January there will be B2B draws and that would bring CRS down and eventually all will be picked. She said not to panic and hang on, it is just matter of time.

Here is the most expected SINP EOI draw results for the month of September:

Date of Draw: 25-Sep-19
Stream: Occupations In-Demand
SINP Points Cut-off: 79
Number of Invites: 365

Date of Draw: 25-Sep-19
Stream: Express Entry
SINP Points Cut-off: 70
Number of Invites: 404

PNPs are competing amongst themselves apparently and going by signs, lower CRS scorers are given an alternative avenue to pursue Canadian dream. It looks more so with the liberalization of eligible NOCs by SINP. Moreover, NS and NB have also expressed their plans to increase their immigration. I am only taking the names of those PNPs here who don't ask for a connection with their province or job offer.

Dear Members,

I need your help, I am currently on sabbatical leave from August 2018 to 31. 3.2020 for the purpose of child care. I have worked under NOC 6235 from 2008 to 2018 with the same employer who has approved my leaves.

Please guide me how to mention this in my express entry profile? I am keen to apply for PNPs will this be a problem?

Thanks
