Hi all,
My NOC is 0122 and CRS is 443.
Have got Masters and CLB 10.Only option left to increase the CRS is to learn French.I heard that,to achieve B2 level it would take around 18 months and can fetch you only 4 or 5 points.Hence it doesn't seem to be a good option.
0122 is not in demand list in provinces like Ontario or Alberta where they directly pick candidates from EE pool with CRS above 440.
My question is, does CIC give preference to candidate with CLB 10 when picking from EE pool for PNP,even if the NOC is not in demand?

Anyone know the answer to this? I was going to ask the same question. If I accept OINP, will my profile still be eligible for EE Federal draws? I am currently at 456 and hoping to get 15 more sibling points by October /November.
CIC does not pick candidates based on IELTS Score or NOC they pick candidates based on CRS. They don't care what was your IELTS Score or NOC as long as you have the required points mentioned for a particular Draw.
If you are married get Spouse ECA and IELTS and hopefully you can boost some points based on that. Also when I did quick goolge NOC 0122 occupation in demand I saw a link listing your occupations BC in demand list.
Sorry, I mean when picking candidates under PNP,do they give preference to CLB 10 candidates?CIC does not pick candidates based on IELTS Score or NOC they pick candidates based on CRS. My views are the same.If I were you I might not change to spouse not accompanying for just 2 pts increase. Unless there are other reasons e.g. losing age pts very soon and this is the last chance. Why don’t you explore some other options like improving IELTS from CLB9 to 10 on any single attribute will give you 3 more pts.
Spouse sponsorship rejection rate is rather low so getting spouse sponsorship PR in most cases is only a matter of time, but it would take 12 months to proceed after your landing and there might be other uncertainties during the process such as visitor’s visa got rejected and have to be apart from each other for a whole year... and the sponsor cannot leave Canada for too long during the processing time... also the wait can be very exhausting itself while you could have planned and enjoyed your new life together if you both get PR the same time. Anyway just a couple of my thoughts. I’m just saying 2 pts difference seems not worth it.
If you accept OINP nomination then your points will increase by 600 points and u will get an ITA. This is, offcourse, because your profile is visible to receive an ITA.If I accept OINP, will my profile still be eligible for EE Federal draws? I am currently at 456 and hoping to get 15 more sibling points by October /November.
Simply explained! Kinda felt like one of those "Hence Proved" questions! If you accept OINP nomination then your points will increase by 600 points and u will get an ITA. This is, offcourse, because your profile is visible to receive an ITA.
Look at my signature. Total time from AOR to PPR - 8.5 months. PPR on August 2ndLatest Processing time from getting AOR to PPR? Please share experience here. I heard so many got in just few days
Your scores will only increase or stays same. So you are on safer side anyway. Ielts certificate number also remains same after EoR.What happens if I apply for an EOR for IELTS and receive an ITA in the meantime and later my results are changed?
