Guys, do you have any idea why 451-460 group has suddenly blown up since May? Do H1B holders contribute to this jump or Canadian 2018 graduates who have worked for a year and thus eligible for ECE? I can't believe more than 6193-1668 =4500 people have entered the group within the last 2 months, with 3000+ people being drawn biweekly

CRS score distribution of candidates in the Express Entry pool as of May 10, 2019
CRS score range
Number of candidates
601-1,200
317
451-600 1,668
401-450 35,654
441-450 5,360
431-440 9,621
421-430 6,486
411-420 6,751
401-410 7,436
351-400 40,196
391-400 7,137
381-390 8,550
371-380 8,280
361-370 8,341
351-360 7,888
301-350 23,109
0-300 3,568
Total 104,512
The increasing popularity of the express entry scheme accounts partly for the spike, the major factor is panic and the scrambling of candidates to increase scores. While cic control draw sizes, majority of the power to determine CRS score stilstill resides with candidates. Unfortunately, competition has made candidates think the only way out is to improve scores , forgetting that sometimes it pays to wait. Candidates have written ielts multiple times
and taken more degrees to get it all and this trend will only shoot scores up. Candidates in the express entry pool are as powerful as consumers in a competitive market, they only don't know it

Hi Guys
I just have a question, if the cut off doesn’t go down on 7th august, what do you guys think; will all the 459 clear or if there will be tie breaking rule?
I’m at 459 and I put my application on July 15th.
Its just my visa is expiring and I’m really tensed.
Any comments would be helpful.
It should be cleared.

I have overlapping experience.

For the same 2 year period I have been employed and self employed at the same time. I got reference letter for the employed one and for the self employment I only have a small portion of the clients letters because they were often small clients buying one off services.

Should I claim both or can I claim only employment? I am thinking that if I omit self employment from EE profile can they refuse me on grounds of misrepresentation? On the other hand if I include it can they refuse me on grounds of insufficient proof? (note that I will already have enough experience via my regular employment.

You don't need to include self employment in work history if you don't have sufficient proof and you already have enough points from other employment. List it in personal history post ITA. No misrepresentation.

HI Guys!

I have a peculiar situation. My wife is a Cabin Crew in an International Airline, and therefore flying to 3-4 countries every month.

1) Some Flights return after 2 hours of landing, so the Crew don't cross immigration and stay inside the aircraft. So, does this count as a record in Travel History?

2) Other International Flights have a 1-2 day stop-over at the destination & her passport is just scanned (not stamped) at the immigration as the stop-over does not exceed 76 hours ever. So Passport does not show any record of International Travel. Do we have to show this record in Travel History?

3) She currently lives in Saudi Arabia (Residence Permit since 5 years) and is a citizen of India. She does come to India every month, and her Passport is stamped by Immigration on every visit to India, does this also count in Travel History?

4) If I take into consideration every trip she has made in the past 5 years, the Travel History will be well over 200 entries :O Should I show it in LOE?

Please advise..

For counting work experience, is it okay to have a fragmented experience?
I mean would it count 3 years for the purpose if someone has 25 months in one NOC and then a period of rest, say a couple of weeks, and then another 11 months in another NOC, thus all in all making a cumulative experience of 36 months/3 years.

Now would this be taken together as 3 years for FSWP? (Or would it be a problem because of the interval in between, or rather because of different NOCs?)

No problem as long both jobs are under NOC A,O & B and you can get seperate reference letters with required details.

Hello ROH people,

any chance for a 444 by end of February ?
To be honest as of now chances are very slim but I wouldn't say it can't happen. Nobody knows what will happen that ahead in the future. Increase in ITAs can change the entire game. But don't just keep your hopes on luck and try to improve your score in the mean time. Even a single point increase can make a huge difference somtimes. Good luck!
