The increasing popularity of the express entry scheme accounts partly for the spike, the major factor is panic and the scrambling of candidates to increase scores. While cic control draw sizes, majority of the power to determine CRS score stilstill resides with candidates. Unfortunately, competition has made candidates think the only way out is to improve scores , forgetting that sometimes it pays to wait. Candidates have written ielts multiple timesGuys, do you have any idea why 451-460 group has suddenly blown up since May? Do H1B holders contribute to this jump or Canadian 2018 graduates who have worked for a year and thus eligible for ECE? I can't believe more than 6193-1668 =4500 people have entered the group within the last 2 months, with 3000+ people being drawn biweekly
