You have it all wrong. Age is a major factor that affects how a person integrates in a new country. If you are at 33 years old, you're chances of integrating properly and learning the language are much much lower than a 25 year old. Also, If you're coming from a non English speaking country...

This current Immigration system is the best in the world and still gets better and more competitive every year. The requirements are becoming more stringent every year as CIC is starting to know how to get the best economic migrants out there. This plan was structured by conservatives before...

No you can't. Your employer did not apply for a LMIA for you and also your job offer is not LMIA exempt, hence it does not meet the requirements for express entry.. The job offer that got you hired does not apply here. You may only use the points you get from your 1 year experience.

From my understanding we get it both as an email and in our CIC account.. It should show that you received an ITA there. I'm still waiting on it too

HAHA! My paranoia is creeping in ever so slightly. "Did I not submit the profile?" "Did I do something to make my profile not valid?" I actually went and just re-checked my score... :mad::mad::mad::confused::confused::confused:

I really don't get how they send out these ITAs.. I used to think they start from highest score to lowest.. Now I'm seeing people with lower scores than mine getting it I used to also think they give them to accounts created earlier.. I still see people who created their account two days ago...

If you are doing it in Canada, I would say yes. I sat for IELTS twice in Calgary and both times results were out within 5 regular days NOT business days. I did both tests on a Saturday and would always get my results on the next Thursday.
