Elections are coming and now Canadian goverment is going to work for them first. People are pissed in Canada because of liberal party. Even in pools liberals are loosing election.

https://www.thepostmillennial.com/poll-finds-most-canadians-favour-of-limiting-amount-of-immigrants/

Even if liberals wins they will decrease numbers of ITA to make Canadians happy and they will do it to win next election. I live in canada and that’s why I am telling you guys that Canadians are pissed. I live here and I seen people talking shit about Liberal and they dont like this immigrants in their country. I live in GTA area and 50% Indians lives there. No one likes that. Even in India every year if 100000 people will migrate from Africa and goverment gives them all benefits than native Indians won’t like it either.

Liberals are ahead again. Hopefully they will win.
Liberals are ahead by 0.5 in some polls only not in CBC Poll which is accurate almost every time. And don’t forget the scams and Justin Trudeau’s india’s Trip.

Anti-immigration sentiment is on the rise across the world partly due to a consistent bombardment of misinformation and biased mass media reporting which puts immigration into a bad light. Economic prosperity via nationalistic isolation has sadly become the sole standards in the right-wing political agendas across the world, the emphasis is no longer human dignity and right to a quality life, but economic protectionism. This behavior, unfortunately, is seen in new immigrants as well, they would rather prefer to close the doors of opportunities to people behind them because that would invariably help them breach the oversaturated industries and give them higher chances of success. So I think post elections, there may be some changes in Canadian Immigration, it might not be as drastic as the USA ( unless they elect someone who calls themselves a stable genius).

I live in canada too sir, Thats correct people are pissed about immigration policy but still its not gonna give a major change after election as Canada need immigrants not some specific party. There will be change in refugee policy and little effect in CEC and FSW thing but it wont make it real difficult. Just PR in canada would not be easy like it used to be but still People will get PR and they will settle with almost same rate

They will make changes and I will tell you they it looks like they will reduced numbers of ITAs by making changes to rules . Even after 2020 I believe Canada’s immigration policy will be like USA .

I didn’t get a reply, so posting again and hoping if someone here can help me or guide me.

I missed today’s draw by 1 point :-( I cannot wait for the next one unless they do a weekly draw. My points will go down to 453 from 459 because of Birthday on July 22.

Need some suggestions:
1. Iqas is still processing my Masters. It is in line since June 28. So I can’t tell when I’ll get my Master’s evaluation.
2. Just booked another CELPIP for coming Sunday and hoping to get higher score (I cannot do better in those english exams)
3. Should I add my UK experience for 2 years part-time as team leader? I have not mentioned in previous applications that I was a team leader. All I mentioned was customer service as I started Tesco UK job with that level. Will they raise a question??
Is it too late to show a new work experience?

My score is 456, should I start collecting my documents or wait?
In a sense you are probably very close getting the ITA based on the dropping patterns in the score, however the latest influx of highly qualified profiles put every prediction in a tight spot. You are not in the 440's or low 450's, which gives you a decent chance of being picked up in probably 3 or 4 draws ( barring the tie breaker etc). However contrary to that the scores may just rise. So there is no right answer for this one. But here are a few considerations you might want to think about:

1. Medical Exams are valid for a year, so possibly getting them done near the ITA period or post ITA is probably good as it will give you enough time to land ( so that you don't need to drop everything you are doing and move to Canada).
2. Police Reports are valid for 6 months or 1 year. The 6 month validity is for the place you have currently stayed and the 1 year validity is the place you have visited in the past. Since you cannot go back in time and be naughty, I think collecting police reports from the places you visited or lived for longer than 6 months is good. Ideally, if you suspect that the immigration officer might ask for a police report even though you have not stayed for 6 months or so, please get those as well ( especially if you have stayed or visited the US)
3. Banking: Get your books in order, if you are getting a gift deed done, then ensure that it's properly done and you have accountability. If you are saving from your income, document them perfectly and make sure you can source correctly.
4. Letters of Experience: A lot of people just get a basic letter of experience from their employers for immigration purposes, don't just do that, ask for your employer to give you a secondary letter to potentially share with your future employer which can attest to how good of an employee you actually are. I am not sure how human resource works in certain large companies but asking never hurts.

tl;dr: IMHO Don't fret about collecting all documentations at the moment, wait a bit more ( atleast 3-4 draws) to get some time sensitive documentations like medical exam and police reports.

Thats highly unlikely to happen. You should know birth rate of canada that is 1.6 before thinking Canada will become like USA. And You are considering conservatives as if Trump but No they are the one who introduced EE system for immigration. Liberals just started taking so many refugees and gave them all benefits for prolonged period of time from Canadian's tax payers money. Thats why people freaking out.
Still province like SK MB PI need thousands of skilled immigrant. May be after 2025 they will make it real difficult for federal EE and will make people settle via PNP stream in those province. But Canada turning immigration policy like US in 2020 can not happen

May be they will give easy access to CEC applicants and make little harder for FSW but thats just prediction. We never know

Hello , I have a few clarifications. I will be very grateful for a response

1) my score is 456 as in wes will come only by July last week. So i will be in the draw from August. Wes is marking my PGDM as bachelor degree

Is there any one who got a master degree evaluation for a tier 2 college. Mine is IMT Hyderabad. Which evaluation body is i
Better iQAS or CES.

Can I give only my PGDM for reval

2) My score will reduce on Sept 5th to 451 . So il be having 456 for 3 draws . If everything goes well. So should I wait till then or side my side try to increase score - ielts is maxed out . Is there any other way

Thank you

1. IQAS takes around 6 months to give ECA. When you'll get one, your points will go up by 30.
2. Awesome! Best of luck!
3. Yes, you should. If the total number of work experience is above or equal to 3 years, you'll get more points.

Btw, my birthday is also on 22nd July. Happy birthday in advance :D

Will they not ask why I never mentioned about this job before? I only have one last paystub from that UK job to prove it.
People are also saying to keep it simple and just go with Canadian experience to make PR process faster (as cic won’t have to verify information outside country)

Have you ever heard similar situation like mine?
Sorry I am asking you coz you seems senior here
