@NikSharma01 @13nitinsharma could we add a line to the first post on this and subsequent threads requesting people to wait for 24 hours after draw is conducted, for an ITA?
I think, that’s fine. Let them confirm or ask this question on draw date :)

At the end, it’s their time to celebrate and enjoy. Keep them coming on ‘D-day’. Consider this as an exception :)

Hi, my score is 461. I missed today's draw. I am super worried as my birthday is on July 11th and the next draw on July 10th. How does the decrease in points work? How many points will I lose and will I lose it after 11th? Will I still get the ITA if the cut off next time is 461 and the next day there will be a decrease in points? In case I get ITA next time for 461 points, will my application be rejected due to a decrease in points after getting ITA?

You'll be down to 456.

Indeed brother. But as much as I'm positive, the pool never seems to get smaller and we keep moving to the next draw. Can't do much but I hope you get my point.

There must be a saturation point where this massive influx just slows down.

The internal pool which seemed reasonable now seems daunting!
People are rushing more because CIC has made people uncertain by not conducting a draw for 28 days. Besides, an increased draw size will hide this phenomenon and we shall have our chance regardless of the rate of people entering the pool.

I am so sick of people asking when will i get my ITA in this thread and worrying about tie breaker for no valid reason. WAIT FOR 24 HRS. IS IT REALLY THAT HARD? THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE WHO ARE LITTERALLY WAITING FOR 24 MONTHS FOR AN ITA.

Worry about tie breaker if you submitted your profile on May 11 and have score of 462.

STOP ASKING USELESS STUPID QUESTIONS AND ACTUALLY READ THE THREAD BEFORE YOU START TYPING. so that we don't turn this thread into useless 'when will I get my ITA' crap. Thank you!

I really don't think that was a smart way of answering my question. I actually posted using my phone but it didn't come up here so i used my laptop. People make mistakes right. That was just really wrong coming for an old member of this forum.

Relax, and congratulations for your ITA. It's your day to celebrate and enjoy :)

@EnthuChap @NikSharma01 I do agree with you guys. Lets hope for the best. I am in Australia where they have literally finished the PR with ridiculous points and rules in the last 6 months. My visa expires in Jan 2020, was hoping to catch the plane to Canada when the scores hit 450 but never knew the cutoff will reach all time high and we'd be in this position.

This was my prediction in ROH 120th. I'm very happy that I got it right again :)

Congratulations to all who made it :)

Spot on!

I have some observations of my own.

-> January 2019 had 5 Wednesday's and they conducted 3 draws (all regular) including 1 b2b draw.
-> May 2019 had 5 Wednesdays and they conducted 3 draws (2 regular and 1 FST)
-> July 2019 has 5 Wednesday's as well, so they could ideally conduct 3 draws (all regular).

So, there is truth to your impending b2b draw prophecy after all. I really hope that it happens and that it normalizes the cut-off scores to lower 450's.

Hi,

in this draw there were 6265 candidates
but of you remember
in last pool the total was : 5934 candidates oout of which 3350 gone which means total is 2584

Now from current pool 6265 you need to deduct this 2584 because they were backlog and carry forward in this draw

So in 14 days 6265 - 2584 = 3681 were added

3681/14 = 262.9 every dday

then from 22 to 26 = 5 * 263 = 1314.6 == 1315

Now, the total is 3681 + 1315 = 4995 people

Now the backlog is 6265 - 3350 = 2915

Then in next draw that is on 10th July : the pool will be 2915 + 4995 = 7910 people approx

assuming 263 added per day
Exactly! I missed that. I didn't take previous database into the current account. Thanks for the correction.

Yes, everyday immigration seems to be getting harder now! Hopefully Q3 & Q4 might come up with some great news. Looking forward to that now with the starting of July.
