Hey Shan,Guys,
Need a help. I have started preparing my application for CES for Distance MBA degree with University of MAdras. WES evaluated it as Post Graduate diploma and am stuck at 449. But, will CES provide the ECA as master's degree with (3+2) ( Bachelor's in 3 years and MAster in 2 years distance education) as Master's degree. I am reading that CES wont be doing that. Any other institutes assess the distance MBA degree with 3 years Bachelor's as Master? I think IQAS is the safe bet but the duration is so long.
Need some inputs and valuable suggestions.
Note : I intend to send only MBA transcripts to CES to get the Master's ECA report. Will it work?
Cheer
Shan
Matt,Hey Shan,
why do you think ICQAS is a safe bet? Have you seen other people with similar cases succeeding using ICQAS?
Which document by ICQAS would be that? I think I've missed it.Matt,
Honestly, I am confused. I submitted my application with CES and almost made the payment but dropped it. There is no point in spending money if I know the ECA report was issues as Master's degree. I want to be sure which institute gives me an ECA with Master's degree as I have 3+2 as my academics. I believe going by the document which nitin shared earlier, IQAS does it. But I want to be sure.
Cheers
Shan
Check this IQAS link (refer page no. 39) - https://www.alberta.ca/documents/IQAS/india-detailed-credential-templates.pdfWhich document by ICQAS would be that? I think I've missed it.
By the way, I've written to CES to ask about rush service and, in sum, they told me that it is analyzed by case, after they receive all the documentation, which means we can not apply directly for it.
Probably you already knew all about it. I just think this information can be useful to others that are wonder about this service.
If found out more about ICQAS, please share it with us as well!
All the best, mate.
Correction. CRS 449My only hopes pins of the June draw with 440 and tie breaker costing me not before Jan 1st 2019.
Cheers
Shan
Yes, cut off would be CRS 450, if the next draw happens on May 15th with 3350 ITAs. Tie-breaker would mostly be a date after Jan 30th.@abhishek_89 What’s your prediction for May 15th?
My prediction:
CRS 450
3350 ITA’s
Not sure about the tie-breaker
Agreed. I may lose in tie-breaker again I believe. My profile was created on Feb 28th, so 50-50 chances this time. Let's see.Yes, cut off would be CRS 450, if the next draw happens on May 15th with 3350 ITAs. Tie-breaker would mostly be a date after Jan 30th.
Updated mate, this is so sad. Do you have chance to enhance your scores, please figure that out.@13nitinsharma, lost points due to birthday today. My new CRS
Hi Nitin, lost points due to birthday. You can update with new score
1. Please choose the NOC code that matches 60% with the roles and responsibilities of your job. You will have to make the most educated choice for yourself as no one else will know your roles and responsibilities better than you.Can some seniors help with my two questions/concerns :
1. NoC for data-scientist : I posted here as well https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/what-is-the-right-noc-for-data-scientist-statistician.625129/
I am a "data-scientist", I have a PhD in statistics but my official job title (due to company legacy job titles) is "Senior Analytical Consultant". How to figure out the right NOC for such a situation? Is it based on whatever experience letter my company issues? I could not find anything matching "analytical" or analytics in the find your NOC tool.
2. Does a H1B denial affect my chances of getting a Canadian PR? Last month my extension for my current H1 here in the US got a "Request for Evidence" and lawyers are warning me there is a high chance of denial (they will refile in that case). If it does get denied does that mean I cannot get a Canadian PR too?
Mar 20 guys..
Hi Nitin,That’s correct. Submit PCC for countries where you’ve exceeded your stay more than 6 months. It can be a one continuous stay for 6 months or combination of short trips exceeding 6 months (whichever the case is).
