Hi Nitin,
I have also stayed for more than 6 months in South Korea (not continuous).
I was told by my friend to have PCC only if stay is more than 6 months and it should be continuous as mentioned on CiC website.

Any specific reason why you are suggesting for PCC for non continuous 6 months stay ?

If you feel it is important, then I will start processing to get PCC from South Korea.
I found something on CIC website

"Lailah studied in Spain between 2014 and 2017, for several 4-month study periods but she did not stay there for 6 months or more in a row. The system will not ask for a police certificate, but an officer may ask for one from Spain after she submits her application. To avoid delays, Lailah could ask for a police certificate from Spain and submit it with her application."

Is this the reason ?

Your stay should be continuous which is equivalent to stay in a row as mentioned in CIC website. If not, then you don't need a pcc.

That’s correct. Submit PCC for countries where you’ve exceeded your stay more than 6 months. It can be a one continuous stay for 6 months or combination of short trips exceeding 6 months (whichever the case is).
Stay should be 6 months "in a row" as per CIC rules which means a continuous stay. Combination of stay is not the case anymore.

Hello everyone and congratulations to those who've received ITAs already and best of luck to the ones that are eagerly waiting. I've been following the thread quietly and thought I didn't belong here until today. My ielts arrived and I have scored CLB9 in first attempt :). Awaiting ECA though which may take another 2 weeks. I'm going to be at 447 tho :(. Is there any hope for me??

That should become clear in the next 2 draws, if the cut-off is going to stay above 450 or come down from it.
Nevertheless hope is the only thing which holds us here.

I know it's mentioned on CIC website as continuous stay but Visa officer may ask you for the PCC in the later stage of your application. Since you've stayed more than 6 months with your short trips, officer can ask you for the PCC. Many applicants have faced this scenario in the past.

I strongly recommend to have your PCC in advance rather than delaying your application (applying for PCC with short deadline by CIC) at the later stage of your application. It's upto you how do you want to proceed. Good luck!

I concur with this view. One may choose to be proactive and ensure that no delays occur at a later date or get stuck later. It's advisable to be as comprehensive as possible in the application. You can always err on giving more information than less.

Visa officer can ask anything anytime. For even couple of days staying they may request any proof from an applicant.
Sometimes they don't have enough time to do so and they leave it as per CIC regulations with all those latest changes.

Correct. You shouldn't upload the documents which were not requested unless you don't have an actual proof.
Make it easy and easy application will please immigration officer to decide asap.

There is always a hope. If possible try to increase your ielts score unto clb10. Hope CIC will increase the # of itas. Good luck.

Hi,

Sorry to post in this thread, I tried to post my query in other forums but did not get a response and I saw this is the most active thread, please suggest on below situtation,

I recieved ITA in March 2019, submitted my documents and paid fee on Apr/25 for my PR application in Express Entry. I only received Confirmation of Online Application Transmission but did not recieve AOR.
I called IRCC multiple times, agents are saying that they are not able to find my application on their system.
I submitted the Webform and used Report techinical issues in Express Entry page. Today early morning (EST TZ), I recieved a message from an agent saying issue is resolved, however I am not seeing AOR yet.
Upon calling IRCC again, agent asked me to raise Webform again and wait for 10 more days.

Has anyone faced similar issue or any idea what's the best thing to do. ?

Guys,

A suggestion for everyone:

While awaiting ITA, please also carefully check your information put in the Express Entry form. Anything that you change after ITA has to be duly explained.
Yes.. will do that today only.. I have some queries related to months of my and my wife's qualification.. markscard have some other month while degree certicate have some other..

Congratulations to those who got ITA last week. Unfortunately, I lost 5 points on May 1 due to b’day and points reduced to 444. My only hope is PNP now. Does anyone has any idea if there is a possibility to get a NOI for 2174? I’m aware of SINP which has the NOC in their demand list.

I also wanted to know from seniors in this forum if I should apply for certificate/license from CIPS and keep it handy. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
