That’s correct. Submit PCC for countries where you’ve exceeded your stay more than 6 months. It can be a one continuous stay for 6 months or combination of short trips exceeding 6 months (whichever the case is).
Thanks for clearing this out.

We got a surprise( just found out now ) invitation in last draw.I hope we can get the UK PCC in time.

I have a Question. My CRS point is 446 (With Spouse ) is there any one have an idea when this CRS cut off point will come down to 446 point in this year considering the current trend?

Thanking you in advance for your support.

Good luck to everyone who are awaiting for ITA.

Most of us have this question. @prince_lords already asked this and he is at 445. I too have the same question at 448.

Going by last year's trend, more ITAs are issued in the second half of the year and that's when we can expect to get drawn. So June and beyond is the time. May will be consumed by 450s.

Can some seniors help with my two questions/concerns :

1. NoC for data-scientist : I posted here as well https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/what-is-the-right-noc-for-data-scientist-statistician.625129/

I am a "data-scientist", I have a PhD in statistics but my official job title (due to company legacy job titles) is "Senior Analytical Consultant". How to figure out the right NOC for such a situation? Is it based on whatever experience letter my company issues? I could not find anything matching "analytical" or analytics in the find your NOC tool.

2. Does a H1B denial affect my chances of getting a Canadian PR? Last month my extension for my current H1 here in the US got a "Request for Evidence" and lawyers are warning me there is a high chance of denial (they will refile in that case). If it does get denied does that mean I cannot get a Canadian PR too? :(

Yes, I know that. Well, as you said, my job title is the same from the begining. However, there was a change in the job positions, like I was working as an off-role employee previously and now have become an on-role one. So, there is a slight change. That's what I was curious about! If I do mention it, then salary needs to be mentioned as well.

Well, I've been suggested by my supervisor to write the letter on my own and give them the format, so that they will type it on the company letterhead. That's why I'm getting quite confused.

As, I had different salaries throughout my working experience. Does it needs to be stated accordingly? Or should I mention it in the personal history?

Well, that's also a valid point.

Yes please. It would be a great help if you do this. I'm open for the DM. Thanks!

The things which must be included are job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits.
Salaries keep changing, and need not to be the same every year, therefore, I was thinking, we can mention them, for all the years, independently. If your NOC is same, most of the must be included things are same as well. Some things like salaries, which were different, can be explained for each year.

I know that you are aware but read it once more.

In the last 10 years, how many total years of foreign skilled work experience do you have?
It must have been paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation (NOC skill type 0, A or B).

So basically there are three thing; paid, duration, and NOC (duties and employment requirements)
The reference letter, itself, is a proof of your work experience; salaries, duties, full-time or part-time and so on..It is given by an employer who takes the responsibility of your work experience.
If you are not satisfied, do more research as this is a mandatory document and we have to be very careful.

1. Since you said you have an H1B, check the job responsibilities outlined in the H1B petition filed by your company. You could use that to look up the right NOC.

2. Doesn't matter.

FSW
That sounds fair. I will look into this. However, personally, if one had to choose between FSWP and PNP, it would be FSWP due to fewer restrictions and lesser fee right? I am keeping this in mind and hoping for the best.
Yes. FSWP should be chosen is that case. It's easier and affordable.

All of 450 backlog will be cleared in next two draws (May 15 & 29). You dont have to worry anymore, time has come to sail through now!

When did you create your profile by the way?

Yes, as I mentioned previously, I've been working with the same employer from the begining. I know, its one of the cruicial documents, that's why I want to take each step carefully!

Yeah, had the same problem with my Master's degree last February :D

The problem is if you had done the ECA for a lower degree before, they carry over the same thing when you add a new credential evaluation. They just won't evaluate the new one alone. I even tried creating a new account with just the Master's using a different email and that too didn't work as they match your name and DOB from before.

You will have to send the documents again.

In my case, I had called them multiple times to move over the documents from the previous ECA, as I couldn't send my documents again, which they eventually did it and they ended up doing a secondary evaluation by sending the documents to the university directly. It's a lengthy process.

Guys,

Need a help. I have started preparing my application for CES for Distance MBA degree with University of MAdras. WES evaluated it as Post Graduate diploma and am stuck at 449. But, will CES provide the ECA as master's degree with (3+2) ( Bachelor's in 3 years and MAster in 2 years distance education) as Master's degree. I am reading that CES wont be doing that. Any other institutes assess the distance MBA degree with 3 years Bachelor's as Master? I think IQAS is the safe bet but the duration is so long.

Need some inputs and valuable suggestions.

Note : I intend to send only MBA transcripts to CES to get the Master's ECA report. Will it work?
