Good sign for 451+ but not for those applicants who fall under 441-450.

Range 441-450 is keep on adding and has gone up enormously since January 30th draw (CRS 457). So, applicants with 450 & below scores are still waiting for their turn since they didn't get a chance to smile (except shocks) since last 5 draws (including ME) :D
I hope, May will become "the month of 2019" which would bring smile to many including you, buddy.

Although, the system has evident an effective decrease in the 450+ applicants since the last draw. However, we cannot avoid the figure of 234.5 profiles per day. If the same trend is followed, the number of applicants with 450+ CRS is very likely to rise again into the pool within this 2 week period, thus making the situation more intense.

234.5*14=3283

Honestly, I want these calculations of mine to be proved wrong! Good luck everybody.
That's what the reality is. But, still, we have 67 spared itas, in extreme cases, which would render the cut-off to 450 in the coming draws. To be honest, I think, this situation won't be lasting more than 2-3 next draws. There would be iether a decrease in the 450+ candidates or an increase in the itas.

Exactly!
It's become a bitter truth of today, which noone wants to taste!
Nonetheless, one-week draw can lessen the intensity itself.

Hello folks,

Need your help in making some decisions regarding my application.

1. My crs is at 463. So I’m hoping to get an ita in the next draw.
2. Assuming i apply in Jun 2019, by when can I expect the COPR. Is it fair to assume that I will get it by September 2019?
3. I plan to quit my job once i receive the ITA. my notice period is 3 months so will leave the job in July 2019. After July I plan to take some time off and pursue some personal interests till i receive the COPR. Do you think this will impact my prospects of finding a job in Canada after I land there? Is there any other impact of quitting the job (other than the obvious financial impact :))

Views/Suggestions most welcome. Thanks.

Dates of my employment are:-
01 June 2014 - 30 May 2015
&
17 July 2017 - Present.
When will I receive marks for 3 years experience? And will the score automatically increase or I'll have to make some changes by myself.
Thank You

Take one step at a time. Nothing is confirmed until it happens. Resign post COPR.

Only back-to-back draws can douse the situation for folks below 445. For 445-450, cut-off will decrease by at most one point in each fortnightly draw, considering around 500 candidates sitting on each point between 440-450.

these rounds of invitations are brutal. I started this out super confident. I've even advised my husband against sitting for the TEF or doing an EDE ! now I've witnessed two rounds of invitations with a minimum score of 451 ! i'm 1 point shy of an ITA and i only have myself to blame. After the last round i decided not to leave anything to chance and signed my husband up for the TEF however the results can take up to 2 months ! do you think i jumped the gun by paying for a priceyadditional test to improve my score when i'm already so close

On June 17, 2019 your 2 years of experience will be completed for the current job.
As, you have already 1 year experience from your 1st Job. So, you can easily claim points for the 3 years mark, post the 17 June.

If your husband knows French, you did the right thing. Otherwise, you could have waited.

Not sure where you are from. Those from India manage to get only 1 CRS point after six months of studies.

of those who are not in a rush and want to improve their crs score , take french classes . more points are allocated to french speakers . for instance if you pick it a a second language and manage to get nclc 7 you get a bonus of 30 points

Ok if you are so good in French, you could have waited because no matter when your husband appears, your ITA is confirmed.

1. Yes you will get it. Start preparing the documents.
2. IRCC says 80% of applications are processed within 6 months. So it would be safe to assume, if you submit in June and all docs are in place, the PPR mail can be expected around Jan.I'm assuming you're an FSW applicant.
4. I can't think of any major impact. Make sure you can prove/justify all experience with docs and meet the minimum eligibility criteria before quitting. Also, not all ITAs convert to PR. So I'd suggest you think of all outcomes before quitting.
