I think next week cic is going to conduct draw for Federal Skilled Trades Program and after that on 13th may be issue again with 3900

I think, looking at past trends, they do the FST draws around May and Nov.

Yes, if you can submit your PR application within that 1 day.

I guess the reason for this low CRS is because of the Ontario NOI? Think about it, they cleared all those who had a CRS of 439 and above?

You are still active in the pool after receiving NOI which means you will get ITA even if you have already received an NOI from Ontario.

The reason for the low CRS is because they did a draw with a lesser gap of only 7 days, hence the number of applicants who entered at higher scores were less, thereby reducing the cut off.

Even I applied when I was 3 birthdays away from 30! Nice strategy to apply early but most of the applicants decide to migrate later in life when they are near 30 or already in their 30s.

Because they want to accumulate more funds ( to live a better life) / more work exp, or to establish a family before they immigrate, I guess?

I've declined twice already at 443.

Please don't do this injustice to other applicants in the pool. Only submit profile when you are ready and have completely reviewed it.

So is the EE linked OINP is actually using Federal quota / target? If yes then it is understandable that Federal Gov want more balanced distribution of immigrants so they “snatched” people from OINP and offered them a chance to settle in other territories

No, just because I want to delay going to CA as much as possible. I actually have COPR valid till Apr 2019, but intend to return it to IRCC.

So you have already got a COPR and you want to return it and apply for PR again!

Instead you can do a soft landing before April 2019 and then you can return back to Canada anytime before April 2022.

I guess it is just that they don't think about immigration till they have a family and big responsibilities to take care off. That's what I have observed.

OINP and federal have separate targets.

I was able to figure an explanation for yesterday's odd draw (1 week gap draw but only 3350 ITAs).

Just my guess, CIC might be planning to do 3 draws on all the months with 5 Wednesdays and 2 draws on all the months with 4 Wednesdays.

Jan, May, Jul and Oct have 5 Wednesdays. All the remaining months have 4 Wednesdays.

11,150 ITAs already issued in Jan.
3350*3=10,050 ITAs each in May, Jul and Oct
3350*2=6,700 ITAs each in the remaining 8 months

Total in 2019: 11150+(10050*3)+(6700*8)=11150+30150+53600=94900 ITAs

With this approach they can meet the ITA target for 2019.

I hope this is not their plan as it would mean higher cut offs in the coming months due to reduced draw size (3350 instead of 3900).

Let's wait and see what happens!

I know the draws have been frequent and comparatively large but I feel that rate of intakes has slowed down a little as well. From 300 a day in previous year to roughly 220-230 (just a guess based on approximate remaining number of candidates between 438-440) nowadays?

For PCC, will i need address proof of present address also????? as i was planning on getting PCC done for passport seva kendra in Punjab only.
Will it be an issue if a dont have rent agreement of my current location ??

OINP is inviting all applicants irrespective of profile creation date, so no need to recreate profile for that reason.

You have to submit your application for PR (post receiving ITA) on or before July 8th, 2019. If not your husband's IELTS scores would be invalid.
