I applied by September 16, 2014 and my application has been accepted by AINP by September 18, 2014.

Application received September 16,2014 eds 6311 still waiting . Called Ainp today just to check whether the file is assigned to any officer yet . They said it's still in long queue and no officer has been assigned yet and didn't say anything else . I don't know how long it's still gonna take

1. Why she changed your NOC. When you applied did you make sure that the job duties match those in NOC B as in HSRDC web site?
2. Why did not you tell her in the phone call that you are on notice period and inform her about the new job..do you expect that she will believe that you apply and got hired on this week period workout even giving the two weeks notice period..I remember that my advice was to be honest!!
3.Now you have a different job noc than what you applied with..all forms has to be changed and this my cause much delay..you may also have to wait until you get your payslip so you can provide it!
4.Can you make your new employer give you an offer letter with the same NOC..I mean the NOC C..by this you only have to go ahead and sit for IELTS..this makes it less complicated as I dout that she will challange that you are working in NOC B as she did with your current job..and you don't want to be in dispute with AINP officer..do you?

I got a reply from national occupation classification that my new job comes under noc 2281

Even if you did not attend the convocation you should be able to have it after the convocation date ..it is one of the important requirements..go tomorrow morning and apply for it. For example this is the link of how to pick up your degree if you don't attend the convocation http://www.registrarsoffice.ualberta.ca/en/GraduationConvocation/degree-parchments.aspx

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I didn't signup for convocation as I was hoping to get my wife here for the ceremony.

What I am saying..no convocation does not mean no degree.. you just have to go to registrar office and ask for guidance
