Hi, I applied through NOC 2134 (Engineering Stream). I applied immediately after my graduation last year, but it took five months before the work permit was issued (which makes no sense at all!!!!). So my application got declined in Dec due to the fact that i didn't have a valid post graduation work permit by the time they closed the ANIP. Even I handed in the PGWP when I received it later September. Tried to appeal but nothing changed. I re-applied on Jan 27, 2016, but no reply at all.Yogivrun said:Is there any body Have applied under NOC 2241 (SRS engineering stream) in last couple of months?

You dont need to send your updated passport to them. In my nomination letter, nothing is related to my passportkallol248 said:Plz help !
I applied on July 2014 for AINP . I recently renewed my passport because the old one will expire on May as well as my work permit. My question is should I send ainp my updated passport. Since they r calling ppl around that time period I'm afraid if I send my passport right at this moment it might delay the nomination process even further. I've read in a different forum regarding passport issue that it's ok not to send the updated passport as long the old submitted passport has enough time till ainp approval. I would appreciate ur help
Thank u
In my case, i got my nomination in just a week. It was mailed to my home address. Did you use your correct address? I would suggest you to write them a letter, indicate your address as welljsb90 said:Hi Everyone,
I need you suggestion.
As i have already told you guyz that i got document request on Jan 27, but didn't get anything yet. Now its almost more than 3 weeks.
So what do you think, should i email the officer for an update or should i wait for few more days?
Please suggest me something.
Thanks
thank you for the infothangtran3112 said:You dont need to send your updated passport to them. In my nomination letter, nothing is related to my passport
It might seem alarming but don't worry bro! It's the total number of applicant (updated from the January'16 applicants) not the total number of 2016 nominates, it is still 5000. It means they will carry over applicants from 2015/2016 to 2017. Right now the processing time is 18-19 months. And so far i think they are working on may-june (afterwards) 2014 application. Also I do believe work permit expiration date is playing an important role now, because someone got nominate from august'14. So if you applied for AINP over 18 months and ur work permit is about to expire, the chances for u to get nominated is higher than other.Mo2016 said:Following is a comparison between the numbers now and two weeks ago, you will find shocking facts
Category............................................previous number 2 weeks ago.............current number.......difference
_________________________________ _________________________ _____________ _________
Food and Beverage Processing Industry Over 15............................................ 45................. +30
Foodservices Industry (Pilot Project) Over 40 ...................................................80................. +40
Hotel & Lodging Industry N/A* N/A*............................................................ 50.............. +50
International Graduate Category Over 2,300 ............................................. 2550................ +250
Manufacturing Industry N/A* N/A*................................................. 20................... +20
Skilled Worker Category Over 1,900 .............................................. 2050.................. +150
Trucking Industry 45 ........................................................................ 75.................. +20
Compulsory & Optional Trades Category 0...................................... 60.................. +60
Engineering Occupations Category 0................................................60..................+60
Post-Graduate Worker Category Over 120 ......................................... 550.................+430
The total incremental in the number of applications in only two weeks !!! = 1040
The number of total previous applications = 5200
The number now is 5600 plus 50 given their nominations =5650
The incremental in " the applications waiting for assessment" = 5650-5200=450
The difference = 1040-450= 590
How do you explain this difference ?
what is your timeline?Yogivrun said:Is there any body Have applied under NOC 2241 (SRS engineering stream) in last couple of months?

i believe u have to inform AINP in case of any change in ur job and address. The sooner u do the lesser it takes time. I cant remember the web link but if u google it u will find info on it . This website doesn't allow us to upload link, so u have to google itprincee5455 said:hii.. i have applied my ainp on may 29, 2014 but i changed my job. does changing employer will effect my ainp. and how long i have to wait for my ainp. please answer i will really appreciate that.
