Less than four months and 1400 nominations are distributed. it means less than 450 per month. Similarly they may have distributed 1000 bridging work permit for April 1/2015 expiring work permits. The math is they have crunched 2400 applicants till date. Some of the AINP applicant will get EE invitations in the course of time. I think it is positive.

Well not everyone received the extension apparently. They let many people ran out of status even. What is more shocking is that we are basically missed out. Almost 7,000 certificates were issued and we have been waiting for 15 months already.

Man, your consultants make things worse for your future (unless they find job with LMIA). Basically your only option now is EE as your PGWP expired and you are not eligible for AINP anymore. Apply for EE, switch your status to visitor and peacefully wait for ITA.

Hi
I wonder if anybody know how much money I should have in bank for applying visitor visa. My work permit expired my employer applied for new LMIA but it is going to be late, So I need to change my status to visitor until will hear from LMIA.
But I couldn't find anywhere saying how much money they require to have in bank.
AINP - EDS
NOC 9486

No news yet :(
Thanks

when exactly did your WP expired? This does not match with what AINP is recently doing. It seems that AINP is selecting applicants whose WP is expiring soon.

My WP expired on January 2015 , I was in implied status until End of march but that LMIA has been declined and my company reapplied again for LMIA beginning April. My restoration period ends mid June so I'm thinking to apply for Visitor during restoration period until will hear back from LMIA, does anyone know how much money you need in bank for family with one kid?

Depends on for how long you are asking for. I believe around $10,000-13,000 for a year. But I am not sure

And your timeline should have been 12-14 months??
yep - I'm in 15 months already. When my friend called AINP they said those time lines are at least 12-14 so it means it can br..... So it is going to be more than that. I totally lost my hope on AINP. When I applied processing time was 4 months I had a lot of time before my WP would expire, But now they make all this technical difficulties with LMIA as well so I don't know what is going on.

did you have post graduation work permit or employer supported one?

Employer driven
That means you had LMIA supported Work permit. You could have invitation through EE back in January. but the draw happened at the end of the month. what a mismatch. Extremely painful situation
