Find a job related to what you were doing, you need to do this ASAP and write an explanation letter to AINP, they will consider your application.
But you need to act fast and find a job that is related to what you were doing.
For ex: if you worked in bank, laid off and you find a new job in a retail store, its not gonna help, they will reject

How do you know if they reject it? They haven't even started working on his/her application yet. Its better to have any job than nothing. But you will have to update the application and your timeline may change too. But I don't think they will reject right away. Its the life and shit happens plus they understand that its a very. very long wait. That's my impression.

Well, u are right. But I know someone who got rejection cause he changed his job to a different one which was not related to what he was doing when he applied (I also switched my job, but I switched within the industry and field).
I am sorry if I am wrong. I was not trying to mislead anyone

So this is same as applying for LMIA application but with supporting PR ?
if employer manage to get +LMIA then PR will be filed under one of the mentioned program ?

From what I understand, if your employer apply for LMIA for PR purpose, he doesn't have to pay $1000 and if he gets it, you will claim 600 points in EE but cannot work because this LMIA is free to apply and only sponsor your PR application. The requirements are the same as for TFW LMIA - 4 weeks advertisement etc..

doesn't help anyway then lol same *censored word* with ads and all.
anyways thx

I live in Edmonton and my company was looking for a receptionist. They couldn't find anyone! And it's a big reputable company. They eventually endeded up hiring a part time student. But yes I agree that it's a hassle for an employer to go through the LMIA.

Hi
We ( PGWP holders) also need to know the outcome of our applications. It seems that only FW would be invited for one year bridging open work permit. Then why do not we have the same?

We have been waiting for AINP nomination since Nov 2013. Being said we also need something to wait for the outcome of our application

Like yours, my PGWP expires in August/2015 and Cap will be done in 2016 if I am lucky to get LMIA. Otherwise PGWP holders never hit the cap with PGWP.
Please AINP guys read our posts, understand our situation and do something for us as well.
