if the letter is legit, then bad news for PGWP and NOC C, holders. From Now PGWP holders have to wait too long and NOC C, are done. One of the conditions is -you have to have express entry profile for Bridging work permit. NOC C i think is not able to have it. My thoughts only

This is a good question. Looking at SIN number-PGWP and TFWS have 9 at the front, TFWs and PGWP holders both have limited Work permit. So a PGWP holder must be a TFW. This is my definition

It says on the presentation that under the low-level skilled some were also included. I think its legit I already talked to the person who posted it and asked about the details of her consultant the consultant its legit as well so I dont think they will send things like that without basis. God is good he answers prayers in a diffrent avenue

In short it means 2 things..not whole lot of ppl will be able to benefit from it and it will delay process for rest of us...

My friend received a letter from an MLA. It says that only people whose work permit expire in 2015 are eligible for the 1 year work permit. And that they have 5,000 left

Did the MLA also mention when the new rule will take effect?

Starting Feb 1st. Eligible people will be receiving emails with instructions. You and I will not get anything as ours WP don't expire in 2015

Unfortunately, my WP expires in 2015 :-\ but I am a PGWP holder.

I guess I just have to wait and see if this new measure will benefit PGWP holders as well.

I am also watching it carefully whether I am eligible or not. My PGWP also expires in August 2015. if I am also included, That would be a great relief for me.

Accdg to the forum the AINP officer mentioned that they will be sending letters to qualified applicants starting Feb 1. So those who applied before July 1 of 2014 just seat back and wait.
