I thought to apply with nomination letter only because i wont have time to wait for CIC file # since my WP expires january 2015.

If you apply with a nomination latter, your work permit will be tied to your employer.

I got laid off in 3rd week of Aug and found another job in 1st week of Sept. with a better job position and salary. I'd sent all reqd paperwork from the new employer to AINP so far. My question is that will this have a negative affect on my file? I've heard we should stick with same employer after applying for AINP.

I have 1.5 years of work experience. Do I just apply under CEC now, or be waiting for AINP nomination? My work permit expires in May 2015.

In my opinion it should not have any effect as long as you update AINP with the new job info. And yes, definitely apply for CEC or FSWC as soon as possible.

Because it is under EDS the employer gets a file number too on the company, as the majority noticed from the e-mails received from AINP, so in my opinion you might receive another file number with the new company you are working for ...this is just my thought...hope to be wrong...

The 2015 immigration plan unveiled today sets a target of up to 285,000 new permanent residents next year, an increase of about 20,000 people over last year's goal.
Students and temporary foreign workers seeking to settle in Canada permanently will have the best chance at nabbing a spot: spaces in the Canadian Experience Class program are set to jump to up to 23,000 from last year's maximum goal of 15,000.
The program fast-tracks permanent residency for people who are already in Canada as part of other programs, including the controversial temporary foreign workers program, which is undergoing an overhaul.
The government is also set to admit more federal skilled workers, aiming for 51,000 people as it revamps the entry program to bring them to Canada.

Lets see how much quota does AINP get for the coming year..

.its not wrong to keep our hopes up! we just really have to believe and claim that ainp certificate! kapit lang!

Hello can someone please clarify, I am very confused. When is it you can apply for bowp?,is it when you receive you AOR ( acknowledgment of reciept) (which comes quite quickly right?) when you receive aor are you safe; can apply for bowp and not need another lmia?
