Hi,

Got my file number in less than 3 weeks. Should I expect a faster processing? I applied under SRS-Engineering Stream (NOC 2132). I work at TransCanada and have my PR in process under PNP Ontario. I recently moved to Alberta and applied for AINP here.

From what I have read here lately .... I think now AINP just put all files into a big box and have lucky draw daily ... cos it is crazy that some people who applied this April have already got nominated but someone with the same job and applied last Dec but still waiting for their nomination.
This is insane and I think if you have a NOC code 0, A, B job and you shall consider try to apply either CEC or FSW ....

I think the ainp prioritize some hotel, engineer, and computer industries. And for the hotel industry, they give the one with employer driven program first somehow.

I wish I could apply under CEC, but my NOC is banned. So I will apply under Express Entry next year. Guys! Prepare your language test and be ready for the EE. That's the best we can do right now.

You are right.. I applied in April under SRS-PGWP Noc 2132, Mechanical Engineer. I called them last week, and they haven't opened my file yet

On the other hand, someone in this forum already got their nomination applying after me in SRS-PGWP as civil enginner...
