Hi all, I am not sure what speeded up my application. I will give a few details about my file though. Our work permits will expire in March 2018. I the principal applicat on an open work permit, my husband on a closed. We have Alberta PNP and a paper based application sent to CIC in May 2016...

Hi Raj, you can put in the update for me, background check is not needed. I cant confirm the dates though because I have applied through a lawyer.

. I did, medical passed, AOR November 1st.

In case you guys want to add me to the list. Application filed November 1st, Medical passed November 19th, CEC (inland).

. I have noticed for CEC it takes longer.

I think they might do the background check before sending the MR....
