What job u guys doing ! I am accounting bookkepper and what about u guys

I was wondering why they are taking so much time as oct. applicants got their nomination in oct. itself but people from nov. are still waiting.Actually AINP has quota of 5500 for 2014. I think they have not nominated anyone in 2014 yet and they dont want to finish their quota early thats why they are delaying it knowingly.I might be wrong but they can process quickly . They are not processing
rapidly on purpose. I am so worried as I applied in feb and my wp is expiring in august.

AINP official FB page.Although they have not mentioned anything on their website but i was pretty shocked when i saw one of their answers to a query on their facebook page.

The page si only fort post graduated and international student, maybe 5500 concerns only these categories. Hope so... Because it doesn't seem a lot...

Is there any news November applicants? Im worried with the new moratorium kn restaurant temporary foreign workers....i am hoping this will not affect our application..

Here is the original posting on FB about quota

Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program:
Hi Rajveer, Thank you for your comments. 1)Alberta has been allocated 5500 hundred nominations for 2014. 2) The distribution of these allocations between streams and categories can vary depending on a variety of factors including the quality of the application (completeness, eligibility), labour market information, occupational supply and demand forecasting, AINP application volumes, and / or any other factors at the AINP’s discretion. 3) The most up-to-date processing times are posted on our processing times page of the website - http://www.albertacanada.com/.../ainp-processing-times.aspx. If there are any changes to processing times or to the way processing times are reported they will be posted on the website. Processing times are an estimate and are subject to change. An application to the AINP does not guarantee that you will be nominated. It is the responsibility of all applicants to the AINP to take the appropriate steps to renew their work permit. Applicants should not wait for the AINP to make a decision on their application before they start the process of getting a new work permit. 4) Any changes to the AINP (including changes to accepting applications) are posted on our news page http://www.albertacanada.com/.../immigrating/ainp-news.aspx. The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program is a permanent immigration program for individuals who intend to live and work in Alberta permanently. If it is not your intention to live and work in Alberta long-term or you are unsure if you are ready to make that kind of commitment, the AINP is not an option for you. If you are interested in a more flexible permanent immigration program for international students, check out the federal government’s Canadian Experience Class (CEC) at www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec.

I think limit shouldn't affect 2013 applicants, if they say 5500 nominations for 2014 that means for people who applied in 2014...

I think its Nomination approval limits, it count of 5500 approval of nomination of 2014..

don't worry if u already applied then u will defiantly get the nomination.. Best luck to all of u!!

Any updates guys !
