Hi everyone,
I got my nominee today on my birthday! yeah!
here is my timeline:
Acknowledgment email got Jan 17 (submitted one week earlier)
File number: March 20
Nomination : April 17 (yes within a month!)
Received nomination May 1st!

Thought there was an email notification for nomination but there is actually no! they only give out by mailing.

PS:
I applied under post graduate (graduated from UofC), and under NOC 1212

I think now since they put brakes on Food/sale/restaurant related Work Permits as well as nominations ( I guess) , other work related nominations would be faster.

Thank you! and that's true. By my nominee issued on April 17 before the Work permit new policy. I guess they'll process it even faster for you guys!

Ya paul it is quiet suprising !! It his catgory is post graduate one and it not only me ! There are two other people too who are waiting ! So i am supposing everthing is fine and we will get it soon ! Thankx for concerns !

lol got on May 1st. I know frds applied on Nov 26 (submitted) got his early March (post graduate category as well). And an other friend applied under Semi skilled in December got his nominee last week.

I am just assuming LoL
coz the new program doesn't require any work experience for international student. students graduated from last fall, and this winter would get their degree in June!
must be another crazy amount of application (UC UA MRU LETHBRIDGE SAIT NAIT ETC..everyone's waiting for the moment they got their degree and apply)! plus i know tons of ppl moving back to Alberta (at least Calgary, much more than before).
If they wouldn't finish most of previous applications by then ,they will get in a huge mess..
Also, they are left with less work since federal terminated LMO for food services. Lots indian people and Philippines are counting on food services. feel bad for them.
