I applied Jan 17th, got my file number today under AINP employer driven stream semi skiled

i am nominated under employer driven category( semi skilled) last week along with my spouse who is in India. can my spouse come to canada now ? what are chances of getting visa ? please help.

hi brother..you can invite your wife as a visitor ......and she can apply anytime but not sure that she will get visa or not ...its totally depends upon visa officer....

i got my ainp nomination in international graduate category employer driven-semi skilled. my work permit expired in feb. so after receiving nomination, i applied for status restoration and open work permit on the basis of my nomination. but my question is what are my chances of getting open work permit and not closed since my nomination was employer driven ? any body with similar situation ?

hi....don't waste your time for apply open work permit...if you get your open work permit then you can work wherever you want....if you need to work in other place because in this country there is no job guarantee so better to keep that then you are free in canada....

notify ainp or cic about it but they find out at later stage than what are the risks involved ? will they take any legal action against me ? please reply.

It is clear as the sun that whatever changes in your status you have to inform them.
It's better to follow their instruction than to be sorry later.
I do believe however that they can't revoke your nomination since you had gained that qualification beforehand. Just inform them of your case, that it's not your will that you are out of work right now.
Be humble to them, write a letter explaining your situation.

Nobody can withdraw your nomination except AINP themselves.
If you think that your legal rights as a worker is the issue, inform them about it.
You can email AINP office with regards to your case, ask them questions, they are always ready to answer.

Hi, Can we apply for Bridge open work permit after we get our file no or do we have to wait for AINP Certificate? I've applied under Employer Driven Skilled - International Grads category. But my post grad open WP is valid till July 9 2014 only. They received my AINP application on March 20. Not sure if I'll get my nomination before my WP expires. Any idea what can I do in my situation?
