Can someone please help me with determining my date of eligibility to apply for express entry? I'm trying to clarify when my 12 month full time work experience will be reached. Below is my work history:

Job#1 NOC A: started on 20 October 2014 ended on 31 December 2014
Job#2 NOC A: started on 05 January 2015 and is ongoing
I have effectively 4 days of gap between the two jobs. 3 days of which are holiday and weekends. And 1 day was a business day.

So I'm not quite sure if I should wait until the end of this week or apply on 20 October 2015.

Please let me know.

Just go ahead and create ur profile right away. U don't need to worry about the time calculation part. Once u create ur profile, it will get auto updated whenever u complete the one year. But make sure that u write the start dates and end dates of two jobs correctly.

Oh really.. Mine is expiring next month.. There are many who have days or months left only.. And u r crying for 1 full year.. Many things are about to change on jan 27, 2016.. And the so called inventory is also decreasing really fast.. So chill

Relax,my friend - he is not crying over it;simply hoping for fast track process as the new government will be taking charge shortly.

Your one year will be counted in for the second job, and you will gain points for one year experience only on the 5th of January 2016

I'm going to apply under canadian experience class. One year experience does not have to be continuous and can be gained from one or more noc codes. Is it not the cec requirements?

Please provide some references where is says otherwise.

Maybe something changed but i remember that this has been discussed before that the CRS doesn't give you any points if you have changed jobs in one year, it calculates a full year only if it was uninterrupted... Maybe something changed from then, that would be really nice if it is true...but i doubt it

With all the work experience, qualification I am scoring only 416 points max . I scored only 7.5 in IELTS but if one scores 8.5 one can increase points to 486 which my friend did .
