Hi everyone,

Please help me with this. I am expecting my 3 year wp to arrive next week. I was wondering if I can apply for SRS post graduate worker category as I have a full time contract job offer for 3 months to work in the Oil field in Fort Mc. My main concern is the Company offering me this job(Network Technician). The company is owned by a known guy, it is a Numbered Alberta Corporation which was incorporated in January 2013. The company doesn't have a office and the address of the company is his house address(I did a bit of research I found it in the list of Alberta Corporations List online). The company doesn't have a website. One guy already applied for AINP in the same category using this company's Offer Letter, but he applied 4 months ago so no response yet.

I am being paranoid if I apply and dont get my AINP after waiting for a period of almost 12-16months, I would be devastated as I dont have any other option than AINP.

Please provide your valuable suggestions and what are the conditions to be fulfilled by an Alberta Employer. The AINP website doesnt clearly defines the criteria for an Alberta Employer.

I think Ainp starts to giving out the nomination rapidly.... as July 14 only 2300 nomination are issued and now around 3200 nomination for the rest of the year...

Hi guys, one of my friend who applied for AINP in December 2013 has received the Nomination yesterday. This is FYI on those who needs a timeline.

NOC: 2173
Applied: December, 2013
Nomination Received: July 23, 2015

AINP officer called the employer and the employee last week to confirm that the work is still on going. Exactly after 3-4 days my friend received the Nomination letter via email to the Consultant.

Good Luck to those who are inline and congrats to those who already nominated by AB.

I think they are processing based on different streams and information they have given on their website, Well few months back they told be its gona take 14 months and thats what they posted on their website, so I believe it worked. So for some people it will be quicker for some people it might take some time.

I got a call today from AINP office asking for I am still working at the same company and if there has been any changes after I made my application in dec 2013. Then she talked to my manager to verify my duty and designation. Hoping for the best.

WP expires: March 2016
International graduate category

One of my friend also applied same as my noc in March 2014, he got a call, too on same day as me.
His WP expires on a same day as mine.

Is there anyone else got a call in last few days. I'm confused if this call is made to give us a nomination or just to see if we are still active? She didn't mentioned anything else. I will keep you guys posted.

I applied in aug 2014....but they changed the processing time,...and my work permit will expire in aug 2015

did your employer applied for new lmia? bcoz nobody knows how ainp process the application, still thousand of people wating for ainp since nov 2013.
