Hi I got AINP Nomination this week , I applied under post graduate category last august 2014. Its took ONLY 11 months, My FRINDS ALSO GOT THEIR NOMINATION SAME AS ME. wE ARE WORKING UNDER NOC LEVEL B . So my question is that I need to apply for work permit extension , so do I need to wait until I got my pr file number or need to apply now..... which one is better to get a open work permit rather than closed. In my nomination written that NO restriction of employment. Please some one clear my doubt . Thank you

I have applied under same code in Feb, 2014. No news yet. Somebody got AINP recently under same NOC code. He was Dec, 2013 applicant.

Unfortunately, it didn't happen to me it is almost 1 month now and they haven't given me the file number yet. Oh well, I am not in hurry tho as I know it will be more than 1 yr from now to get the nomination. There is really no standard with AINP, so I totally understand if they are super slow

So, right now, they process our profile based on NOC ?! It's maybe a good news.

I think they are processing based on different streams and information they have given on their website, Well few months back they told be its gona take 14 months and thats what they posted on their website, so I believe it worked. So for some people it will be quicker for some people it might take some time.

Hi everyone,

Please help me with this. I am expecting my 3 year wp to arrive next week. I was wondering if I can apply for SRS post graduate worker category as I have a full time contract job offer for 3 months to work in the Oil field in Fort Mc. My main concern is the Company offering me this job(Network Technician). The company is owned by a known guy, it is a Numbered Alberta Corporation which was incorporated in January 2013. The company doesn't have a office and the address of the company is his house address(I did a bit of research I found it in the list of Alberta Corporations List online). The company doesn't have a website. One guy already applied for AINP in the same category using this company's Offer Letter, but he applied 4 months ago so no response yet.

I am being paranoid if I apply and dont get my AINP after waiting for a period of almost 12-16months, I would be devastated as I dont have any other option than AINP.

Please provide your valuable suggestions and what are the conditions to be fulfilled by an Alberta Employer. The AINP website doesnt clearly defines the criteria for an Alberta Employer.
