congrats and what is NOC pleaserdplus said:My Friend and I applied for AINP on May 22, 2014, both received AOR on June 16, and file# August 20, 2014. My permit expires April 1, 2015 and my friend's expires on April 15, 2015.
My employer received a phone call from AINP office on Sat. March 14, 2015 regarding my employment status and company's WCB account # and I received my AINP nomination on Friday, March 20. However, my friend is still waiting, and there has not been any phone call regarding his employment status either.
The AINP office is definitely prioritizing files based on permit expiry date.
Why didn't you apply through Express Entry?rdplus said:We were lucky that our employer was able to receive a positive LMO back in May of 2014, before Mr. Jason Kenny introduced all the changes that made it extremely difficult to apply now.
So, I guess you created a profile and you probably received ITA....rdplus said:We were lucky that our employer was able to receive a positive LMO back in May of 2014, before Mr. Jason Kenny introduced all the changes that made it extremely difficult to apply now.
I agree. if someone has LMIA/LMO under NOC O,A, and B then it is a sure shot for EE's ITA. then why AINP officers are bothering about it. Please think it twice before you issue a nomination certificateMONKUCHA said:AINP officers should stop issuing nominations for those with LMO and whose noc codes are from O, A, B as they have already received ITAs
Your argument is invalid. Anybody living in Alberta will do that not only PGWP holders.paulgovas said:I agree. if someone has LMIA/LMO under NOC O,A, and B then it is a sure shot for EE's ITA. then why AINP officers are bothering about it. Please issue certificates for PGWP holders because they will remain in Alberta, pay tax for Alberta, purchase houses in Alberta, purchase cars in Alberta, school kids in Alberta, do daily grocery in Alberta---------------------> they are customers who create demand for Alberta.
I dnt knw where is this coming from ? part where u say PGWP holders will stay in alberta (assuming others wont). I was also a PGWP holder. Even if u wanna look in a way that who will stay in alberta nd who wont, logical thinking wud say ppl with LMIA r more likely to stay in alberta than PGWP as they r bonded to the same employer regardless of anything. whereas PGWP with open work permit can choose anytime to work for another employer or in other province. for the record m not LMIA holder.paulgovas said:I agree. if someone has LMIA/LMO under NOC O,A, and B then it is a sure shot for EE's ITA. then why AINP officers are bothering about it.
