Hey! I need help guys. I'm planning to apply for EE; I need to get my credentials assessed by WES. I did Btech from India; how to send all my relevant documents to WES. Should I sent my original documents ? Or is there any place I could get it attested. I currently live in Edmonton

Only ur university which took exams can attest ur marksheets..not college..go look under express entry section there is lots information..

Apply at WES 1st then when u get confirmation email( most universities ask for it) send it to ur parents or someone in india with a letter giving them authorization to receiver attesed marksheets for u..go to registar's office of university with ur enrollment number..have all ur marksheets and certificate attesed and make sure have them put in an envelope which also needs to be attesed otherwise WES wont consider valid..have them send it to u which u can forward it to WES..

how do u think AINP will process skilled workers on work permit with LMIA/LMO knowing they more likely will get ITA under EE since they will get 600 points for LMIA. wouldnt it be waste of nominations??

well if it does then ppl with LMIA will get nomination which they not even gonna use since EE is gonna be lot faster at a same other ppl without LMIA will be keep on waiting unnecessary..

Did you applied for an extension before your permit expired? If not, you're not on implied status.

My mother has a work permit and she applied for ainp under international worked skill in january 2014. I'm an international student and i'm currently in Toronto. When she hopefully get the ainp and she applied for permanent residence, does also my status change? I financially depend on her. Thanks

No my friend applying for LMIA doesnt put u in a implied status..
Implied status means when u applied for new work permit before ur current WP expires with CIC and in between ur work permit expires which is called implied status under which u can continue to work while waiting for CIC decision on ur new work permit..if u didnt apply for new WP before ur current WP expires then u r out of status.so u have 90 days from the date ur WP expired to restore it but u can not work during tht time..
I hope i cleared ur confusion...and for AINP i dont know how will they process applications with implied or out of status...i hope u will hear from them soon..i think forum member name jologz was in same condition as u so he might be able to help u out..
