yep..everytime they come up something new rule somehow they alws find a way to screw international students.
if we dont get nomination its end of our canadian dream...very sad but its new reality..

Agree with you... I have noticed in couple months that Students are not choosing Canada because of these changing rules.... Hopefully they will see this trend and stop these crucial changes that make international students life hard...

How did you get them to tell you when they will open your file? When I call all I get is the processing time online. I would love to know when my file will be opened. That gives me an idea of how to plan my life.

P.S - I really hope your nomination comes soon. It is really disheartening to think that our years of education, work and money will go down the drain.

The lady on the phone was kind enough to tell me that.
I was just asking her what is the status of my file on her screen.

i just called AINP just check my application status.Lady told me that their system is down and give me the hope with online processing time .god knows what is going on ? i hope with the starting of next year we will get some good and new news . finger crossed .god help us out .

The province of Saskatchewan will have 5,500 immigration nominations accepted in 2015, an increase of 775 (or 16 per cent) on the 2014 total. The government of Saskatchewan, which had been seeking an increase in its Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) for Canadian immigration, has stated that the increased quota will help to alleviate labour market shortages. Saskatchewan currently has the lowest unemployment rate of all the Canadian provinces.

SO I called AINP yesterday asking about processing rules next year ( first come first serve or labor market), she told me they haven't decided yet. And quota is unsure too....

I pray to god ,with the end of this year and starting of 2015 they will give us some relief . I just saw SINP quota on cic news page so yeah they got it increased .I hope this will happen to AINP as well. God bless

Well considering that they have over 9,700 applications waiting in queue and only 5,500 spots, it's unlikely they go back to first come first serve...Especially now, when a nomination has such a huge value with EE...

All the LMIA supported applicants will go directly to EE so that will decrease the pressure on 5500. in the meantime, NOC C and NOC D will increase the pressure against 5500 under conventional application process that is what my understanding is.
