You are right about studying the employers - but this program is going on for a few years now - so they already know 90% of Alberta employers - that is not a reason to process other applications first.maplelove said:Just my opinion, it maybe because that as per requirements, AWE has the least to scrutinize, but for the other categories, they may have to study the employers at the same time.Am I correct? Maybe the less complex the application the sooner the result will be released? But AINP should have anticipated on this volume and complexity beforehand. They should have imposed contingency plans about this but obviously they didn't! Most of us have our PC already processed. Its time to consider SINP then, they have an updated criteria about skilled category that will take effect on Jan 2nd, maybe we can try to consider it and being in Canada already can be an advantage.
This is out of dismay but we have to act hastily as there are lots of sudden changes about immigration lately.
I cant do SINP coz I live in alberta and work for Alberta employer - SINP is for Saskatchewan people. Its not about the complex applications - I applied for Post graduate - SRS stream - it is one of the simplest - i dont even have the file number yet after a month almost.
Clearly the process is not transparent and applications are based on category rather than first in first out. I have posted a comment on AINP facebook page - but they have not responded to me yet.
