Sorry I meant my work permit expired ****December 4**** after I applied for my ainp and I received my file number.

You might still receive your nomination...but you will not be able to apply for PR with an expired work permit... You will have to renew it first.

Did you get your file number? Most of us here who applied Oct end and early november are still waiting.

Submit my documents by dropping in on Nov 5, recieved File No on Nov 19. Still waiting. Hope everyone goes well.

Guys update on AINP Processing time page -
"Once your application is received by the AINP, and has been accepted for processing, the AINP will notify you of your file number. This notification will take 6 to 8 weeks from the date your application was received."

This means that their processing time has increased and we will receive nominations in about 2 months since file number itself will take 6 weeks - espc for the new applicants.

I am not expecting mine before January.

Yeah so because of high volume of applications... there processing time has increased
even mine is over one month now... still no news

Hi,
Not heard anything yet. And my PGWP is set to expire on 16-Dec-2013.
Can someone advise what can be done if PGWP expires before AINP nomination is received.

Well there is nothing you can do. You can apply for LMO closed work permit through your employer if you like but this will take a few months. You are more likely to get your nomination and then apply for Bridging open work permit.

Btw - you should have your nomination any day now...what category was it?

My application was recieve nov 14 drop off and got my file number nov27 still waiting... I have a friend were just a day apart on our application under awe.. Her application was recieve thru mail nov 14 got here file number nov 26 and got here nomination on the mail dec 05.. Im worrried... Anyboday got their nomination yet...
