Hello Guys,
I am so happy I found this thread, i thought that visit visa's for a sponsored wife were virtually impossible to obtain.
Here is my situation:
I am a canadian citizen.
I got married in January and finished/sent in my spouse sponsorship application in Mid Feb from the ISB office.
There is a 10 year age gap between me and my wife, she is 17 and resides in Pakistan.
I wish for her to visit me during the summer vacations because I do not have any vacation days left.
I can obtain letters from her school showing that she needs to be back after the summer vacations.
I can get a job letter with my salary which is more than enough to show financial support.
I can get health insurance for her during her stay here in Canada.
What other documents do I have to show?
Should I purchase a return ticket to show that I am serious and she will go back?
Since my wife is so young, and did not have a bank account until recently, should I show the bank account of her parents?
What are the chances that this application can be successful, after reading my particular situation?
I have been talking to lawyers who are willing to take my case for $1200-$2500 depending on the lawyer, with no gaurantee of approval.
Should I go through a lawyer in this case, or should I do it myself?
Please advise.
I would really appreciate any advice.
Thanks
