Questions regarding CEC Application forms filling!!!!

HI, THIS THREAD WILL BE HELPFUL FOR ANY ONE WHO IS GOING TO FILL CEC APPLICATION FORMS BY THEMSELVES(INCLUDING MYSELF) !! SO ANY ANSWER FOR QUESTION WILL BE APPRECIATED, SENIORS PLEASE HELP US TO FILL OUT APPLICATION FORMS CORRECTLY.

1) IMM 0008 - QUSETION 11 ---- DATE AND PLACE OF YOUR LAST ENTRY TO CANADA
I CAME TO CANADA 15 JAN, 2010, THEN ON AUGUST 25 I WENT TO US AND CAME BACK 30 AUGUST. THAT ALL MY TRAVEL HISTORY IN LAST 3 YEARS
SO TECHNICALLY THING 30 AUGUST WILL BE ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION

2) NATIONAL IDENTITY QUESTION. ---- I AM FROM INDIA AND I ONLY HAVE PAN CARD AND VOTER CARD OTHER THAN PASSPORT, ARE THESE ELIGIBLE NID OR JUST CLICK ON NO

3) WHAT WILL BE INTENDED OCCUPATION

4) IMM 5669, QUESTION 8- I NEED 2 OR 3 MORE ROWS TO FILL MY PERSONAL HISTORY INFORMATION - HOW CAN I MAKE THAT HAPPEN, NEW BLANK PAGE OR COPY SAME PAGE AND ENTER INFORMATION IN THERE

5) IMM 5562 - QUESTION 2 --- LIST ALL YOUR TRIPS HAVE TAKEN OUTSIDE YOUR COUNTRY OF ORGIN OR OF RESIDENCE IN THE LAST TEN YEAR
INDIA IS MY ORGIN COUNTRY, CANADA IS COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE , I WENT TO US FOR 7 DAYS IN 2011 - SO WHAT SHOULD I MENTION HERE

6) IMM 0008 - QUESTION 3- HAVE YOU COMPLETED A CANADIAN CREDENTIAL GRANTED BY A CANADIAN POST SECONDARY INSTITUTION?
I DID 1 YEAR(8 MONTHS) DIPLOMA, SHOULD IT BE YES OR NO. AS THEY ASK FOR 2 YEARS EDUCATION IN CANADA

7) IMM 008 - QUESTION 9 - NOT POSSIBLE TO ENTER ALL MAIN DUTIES IN 3 SMALL LINES, AND I AM ALSO INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR WITH A FINANCIAL SERVICE COMPANY , SO IS IT SELF EMPLOYED.

1) You are right. 30 Aug is your last entry to Canada
2) India does not have any NID till date. Your answer should be NO.
3) Write the Intended Occupation the same as your 'current occupation'.
4) Use a white plain paper mentioning the Form No. and the column No. to fill info.
5) You need not mention about any trips to India (country of Origin). Mention about the trip to US in IMM 5562
6) IMM0008 - I am not sure if Diploma is the basis anymore for your CEC application (with recent changes) ?
7) IMM0008 - Mention the main duties in the 3 lines provided. The rest will be detailed in the Reference Letter by your employer.

If you don't mind, did you submit all applicable countries PCCs alongwith your application on Jan 2nd?

Thankfully I had to only submit Indian PCC with my application.

Few Clarifications required, expert please help:

1) In Generic Application form: 'Current country of residence' is Canada. What should be filled in "TO" date?
I am still here, shall I leave it blank or type something?

2)Similarly, In work experience section(schedule 8), From date will be when i started working. but what should be 'TO' date?
I am still doing the same job!

3) In schedule 8, What if Employer Name is big enough and it cant fit in small column provided?

4) Schedule A, "Your full name in Native language", do I need to fill this column in my native language in the form?

5) Schedule A, In Education and Personal History section:
I did 1 year of private education, ie, studying for competitive exams(2002-2003). But i do not have any proof to provide the same.
Shall I just mention that I did private education,ie, coaching and institute name?
Or shall i provide affidavit to say education gap?

(1) It can be either your visa expiry date or the date of CEC application.
(2) It can be either your work permit expiry date or the date of CEC application.
(3) No problem writing the short form of the employer name. Rest will be contained in the Reference letter.
(4) After taking the print out, you need to write your full name in native language (in Black).
(5) Affidavit will not be required. You can write having undergone private coaching with the institute name.

STUDY IN CANADA - HAVE YOU COMPLETED A CANADIAN CREDENTIAL GRANTED BY A CANADIAN POST SECONDARY INSTITUTION?
I did one year( 8 months) full time course in canada when i came to canada as a student

IM 0008 - ECONOMIC CLASSES - QUESTION 4

WORK IN CANADA- HAVE YOU PREVIOUSLY WORKED FULL TIME OR FULL TIME EQUIVALENT WORK?

I have 2 years of full time equivalent expereince in canada, and this is my first job in canada or first job in life, so previously worked means before my current job or what? please let me know

Qn 3 - Not sure what credential your earned with a 8 months full time course. Write 'NO'. It does not make any difference now (effective 02 Jan changes).
Qn 4 - Write 'NO'. It refers to any previous job in Canada.

Does anywhere in application forms/documents, do we have to mention our total work experience, ie, any work exp outside Canada?

Or do we need to fill or provide any document for work outside Canada?

Nope. It only reflects in IMM5669 - Personal History.

Please use the latest form IM 0008 - ECONOMIC CLASSES to fill.

THAT'S RIGHT ROGERS, I SAW THE NEW FORM AND EDUCATION QUESTION IS NOT THERE BUT WORK EXPEREINCE QUESTION IS STILL THERE, WHY THEY ARE ASKING ABOUT MY PREVIOUS EXPEREINCE, I HAVE 2 YEAR'S CANADIAN EXPEREINCE AND THAT'S MY FIRST AND ONLY JOB.

Schedule A: education section:

Elementary school: Is this period before Grade 1, ie, Nursery and pre school ??

Secondary school: Is this from Grade 1 till Grade 12 ?

University/college: This is graduation studies.


Is there criteria for minimum period of school studies required?
