If someone on the forum can point me to where I can find answers to the following , that would be super helpful
1. If I am a PR who is outside of Canada but about to deliver a baby in next few mknths , what is the average wait time for me to bring the child with me to Canada ?

2. I will be moving to Canada in April 2018. Is there a waiting period after which I can initiate my husband’s PR? Since he doesn’t have a PR he won’t be joining me. What is the best way to check for waiting time for dependents applying from India ?

3. We are marrying in March 2018 before I leave for Canada. Since my date of immigration is close to my wedding date , what type of extra paperwork should I be prepared to show in case the CIC needs ?

You will need to apply via Outland Sponsorship for both your child and husband. There is no wait time before you can begin your application after your wedding or baby's birth. As a PR, you do not confer any citizenship status to your child. There are many guidelines on the CIC website. You should begin research there.

This is the processing time tool on CIC's website.

1. Use the processing times tool that was mentioned above to check how long. If your child is born in Canada, it will automatically be a Canadian citizen and you won't need to sponsor the child. However, you'll need to take into consideration what your home province in Canada has for a waiting time for your own healthcare after landing. (3 months for Ontario, Same day for Saskatchewan, 1 day in Alberta, just for example). Without Canadian Healthcare coverage, giving birth in Canada is expensive - approx $10k

2. There is no wait time for you to sponsor your husband. The only requirement is to be married and you as a PR must physically be in Canada for the whole application process. There is no minimum income level but you can't be on social assistance.

3. I'm not sure.

Thanks @jordo for your quick response. Appreciate it.
