So I have already filed my paperwork, but I am just wondering if anyone was in the same boat as me, where I had to send the application and photos and proof through email? I kind of feel as though I got ripped off, because they gave me a maximum I could attach to the email!! And I had over 100 pictures to prove my case and it was way over the max, and I emailed cic and they said 15 to 20 pics would suffice. Is that even normal?

Yes, that's the new rules...

You sent your application by email? to who? CIC? You have to courier it to them. Or are you talking about updates?

I have the same question...to whom did you email your photos to? It is supposed to be by post.

With regards to the photo limit...I think everyone under spousal sponsorship can provide tons of pictures...but they only ask what they need. So be strategic on what photos to send...the more people involved in the photo, the better (at least in my opinion). My wedding was just my wife and I, but I showed pictures of us traveling together with family and friends.

Best of luck on your application.

CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca sent me an email back in February that said to pay my right to permanent residence fee, proof of relationship, client information a new schedule A, medical, IMM5490 form, and background check. I have read on here that people got to send all this and their proof by mail but somehow I had to send it by email? They gave me a 5MB limit on top of that for all the attachments.
