Hello,
I need some advise before applying my parents super visa application.

1. Do i need to purchase insurance for 1 year in advance when applying for super visa? if Yes they will deduct the amount right away or it will start when they enter to Canada?

2. In case if got visa reject , will insurance company still charged or any penalty for cancellation?

3. anyone has Invitation letter sample for parents super visa?
4. do i need to mention return date in letter ?

Please reply me,

1. Yes, if you don't purchase it IRCC will ask you to submit insurance receipt anyway. You will have to pay first yes (at least for my insurance).
2. Insurance company normally will pay back the money. But refer to insurance cancellation policy.
3. Should be plenty template online.
4. Yes or you can say how long they will stay. In the application form they have to fill out when they will enter/leave Canada

@AK1984 Hey did you found a better insurance company?

When you guys get a quote, do you'll add pre medical conditions?

Most of the insurance providers need the visa rejection letter to process the refund, but what if plans change after receiving the visa, can we still request for a refund?

Thanks in advance.

Once visa reject they will refund it but if visa receive then you only change the effective start dates on insurance plan /extend it without any cost... . there is no full refund but they will charge some amount of cancellation.

Hmmm….I am planning to apply now but not sure about the dates, it may be next summer.

Some say insurance providers only cancel the policy and refund money in full if the visa got rejected (have to show them the rejection letter).

Since our dates are not confirmed yet, hope I can cancel the insurance after receiving the visa for a small cancellation fee.

By the way did you found a better insurance plan?

Hey guys,

Me and my wife lives in a one bedroom rented apartment, so when applying for super visa will it be an issue?

My dad passed away and I am planning to bring my mom to Canada for couple months.

Please advise.

Not an issue for iRCC but may be an issue for your landlord for a longer visit.

Read your lease.
Lease saying only 2 people (my wife and myself), apparently I need a letter from the LL.

Anyway she isn't planing to come asap after receiving the visa, trying to get the super visa on her passport now, so it will easy for her to enter to the country when ever she wants within next 10 years time.

Thank you!
