I'm from the states and will be applying outland through Buffalo. I'm currently living with my husband in BC on the 6 month visa allowment. What address do I put on the forms for my residence? Do I put the US address since I'm still a resident or is it okay to put our Canadian address? I was living with my mom and sister before I moved here. It makes filling this app a little confusing.

I am German resident/citizen on a visitor visa in Canada.
When we applied I put my German address in the forms as my residence address and my husband's address as my mailing address.

So this is what I would advice you to do. I hope someone will correct me if that is not the right thing to do.

Thank you for the reply, I believe I read that somewhere else on the forum also, but can't remember. If anyone can give a clear answer to this, I would greatly appreciate it. :)

I put my residential address as the one in my country of birth and the mailing address as the one in Canada. I was in Canada on a visitor visa as well.

If you're in Canada as a visitor only, put the address in your home country as your residential address. The mailing address can be in Canada, but the residential should be outside. Or so I've seen it said on the forum countless times. Feel free to give CIC a call and ask though :)

I'm sponsoring my 19-year-old daughter. She's in Sweden. I put her address in Sweden as her residential address and my address in Canada as her mailing address. She's physically in Sweden now.
