Hey all,

I have an extensive job history over the last 5 years from a lot of moving. Just curious if you need to list EVERY job or just the main ones as long as there's no time gap?

For example I had two jobs in 2017 that were a day each for different companies. I still had to submit a T4 for them but it's obvious I didn't work for that company more than a day.

Cheers

Well, since you have a T4 should be good to inform it since they will check everything though your SIN.

Yes, list every job you had which you got T4s for.
If you worked and did not get a T4, then I assume you were working as "self-employed", and that is how you declared your earnings to the CRA. In this case, write "self-employed" for that period of time.

In all things IRCC, be as transparent as possible. You can't go wrong giving them more info than they need as opposed to less. Just write your whole job history on a spare page that you attach to your application. It will make your processing faster if everything they need matches up, instead of needing to dig and verify information. I had a 3 week period on mine where I was deliberately in between 2 jobs and taking a small break because it was summer and I felt like it. I simply stated that I was unemployed for that 3 week period and listed my home address at the time as my location. It does state if there are gaps OR MISSING INFORMATION the application will be returned to you, so maybe err on the side of caution eh? =]

Correct but more info is harmful than info asked. Lot of people send pay stubs, rental info along with the application, which trigger questions. It's a simple logic, VO often thinks why this guy sent those papers, what he/she is trying to hide?
By more info I simply meant send them all the jobs they worked in the eligibility period, just as it asks. Nowhere does it mention to send in stubs etc so I would never suggest someone send those in, just like I wouldn't say make sure to send them a handwritten letter stating why you want to be a citizen so much. The application says state every job you've worked in the eligibility period. Send them every job you've worked in the eligibility period, period.
