You are right. I think this is full of stress for all of us who have been waiting long time.I am now in month 26
And I really don't know why they do it.I think they don't know that waiting for a visa will affect our whole lives and our families.You all know that we cannot change our jobs at this time .We cannot plan our future .My son was 4 months old when I applied for Quebec in 2011 .Now he is 9 years old.9 years is really a long time.But when you call them they say wait .I believe they do not know how much their work will affect our lives.We always hope for ourselves with a new minister ,New year ,New immigration laws ...They do something.But unfortunately they know nothing about our situation
I am from Iran and my visa office is Ankara.But I don't know if my case went to Office Visa.?
No invitation letter till yet. What about you? When will your medical expire?

May I ask you about your rprf at what point of your process you paid them?
I didn't pay them on submission of my application and I am waiting them to ask me to do so.
